Don’t eat here unless you wish to dine with roaches crawling over you.

We were looking for an authentic Mexican food place & were super excited to try this one. Upon entering, it took a second to get seated but after that the bar drinks and food came super quick and was hot.

Midway through our meal, we spotted a roach crawling up the wall of our booth. Being that we have experience in the service industry we attempted to justify the situation & continue our meal. We did tell our server Ruth and she just glossed over it.

We decided to continue our meal & right before cashing out….we see yet another roach crawling down our booth wall. At this point we are startled and scream a tad which prompts our server to come over & ask what happened & she gives a very unsympathetic apology & tells her manager that we never said anything which as I stated before we did.

A this point the manager comes over and only offers 30% off a check for 2….aka 15% each & a free drink out next visit on the basis hed remember our faces? Then proceeds to try to normalize their roach infestation but again being nice….we listen and just want him to swipe our card.

Right we were go to sign the check….a roach come crawling down my party member, down their chest & pants. Obviously we jumó to get it off which prompts pretty much every employee to come over and start sweeping….the manager didn’t come over until we asked for him even though he was staring right at us through plexiglass glass a booth over.

When comes over his demeanor and attitude has change completely & he’s rude & condescending. He even asked where the roach was as if his employees hadn’t been sweeping all around us right after more than likely sweeping it away?

We ask for a full refund of our meal because duh. He agreed but was giving us a difficult time about giving us a voided receipt & was refusing until he could see we weren’t leaving until we got it.

Again, we both have numerous years in the service industry but something Like this deserves. A quick apology & resolution. The fact we had to argue for our money back after having Roaches crawl on us….ridiculous. We are both disappointed bc the food and service at first was exactly what we were looking for but dining with roaches crawling on us is a line...

BAD SERVICE, RUDE STAFF and RIPOFF with the drinks. Waited long for a waiter to come to our table. Asked for items multiple times and they forgot. I ordered (2) 16oz Jalapeno Margaritas and they brought it out in a 12oz margarita glass full of ice. I ordered the large 20oz Margarita for $20+, and it was just more ice. Miguel the server/manager tells me the large 20oz has 2 oz of tequila, vs the 16oz (12oz really) that has 1 shot (1.5oz). So, basically paying $20+ for .5oz more and lots of ice. See the picture for yourself. What a RIPOFF!! Plus, I had originally ordered the Jalapeno Margarita the first time, I wanted the same for my 2nd drink but waiter made the mistake and brought the sweeter Lime Margarita. Told him it tasted too sweet, he went back and added Jalapenos, a Blue orange liqueur and Lime Juice, and brought it back. However, the Jalapeno had a different tequila and ingredients. They made the mistake and instead of changing the drink, they just took back the Lime Margarita and added things to make it look like the Jalapeno Margarita. Coming from LA, it's hard to find good Mexican food in the area. We were excited about this but it just didn't deliver. Food was hot and delivered quickly but needed seasoning. I got the steak fajitas, and they were bland. Adding the beans, guac, and sour cream was needed to pack a punch of flavor. I would have given higher stars but the service was really bad. We were done with our drinks by the time he took our order. Once taking our order, the food was fast to get to us but we never really saw him after that. When he finally checked on us, we were done and wanting the check bc they were closing. We had our cards out for quite a while, and it was 30 minutes passed closing when we finally got up and got the attention of a lady cleaning up to pay our bill. The price wasn't adding up in my head, so I asked for an itemized receipt. The "premium margarita" is definitely not worth $17. In short, food needed something extra in the way of seasoning and was just under average. Unfortunately, the service was poor, and we can't see...
