Paisano's Pizza — Restaurant in Alexandria

I ordered a large veggie pizza and when I got home I looked at it and it was a joke! Raw pizza! I swear it was cooked on the bottom but not on the top, it was a wet dough with raw canned mushroom, yucky canned tomato sauce (I tasted the metal can in it!) and old pieces of veggies! I dunno if the top flame in the oven was broken or what but I’m assuming they were just lazy since they didn’t even cut it for me! I know it was late Saturday night and they were talking and having fun didn’t feel like working but hey it what you signed up for guys if you feel this pizza work is beneath you then quit! Don’t rip people off and ruin the name of the place, too bad paisano was my favorite pizza place now I’m not sure I’ll order more of it since I was embarrassed since I had guests and had them wait until I cut the pizza, put it in an oven pan all while the top where falling off since it was a wet dough on top then put it in the oven to grill it properly! I am beyond pissed and will make an official complaint to paisano’s management about that and to BBB, because it’s a business and I’m a customer who deserves good business, I wasn’t looking for free pizza I paid my money for it and was at least expecting to enjoy it! Very distasteful and disrespectful! Shame on...

Simply disgusting service and horrible sanitation practices. After ringing me up the staff member whipped out her cell starting typing at which point she walked back to where the food handlers area was. She picked up the pizza boxes, cell still in hand, rubbing hands on her pants then opened an oven at which point I asked if she didn't mind washing her hands. She washed her hands and another employee came out the restroom cell-in hand wiping her hands up and down her pants, at this time I lost my appetite seeing their lack of basic cleanliness. I cancelled my order and requested copy of refund/reversal transaction. She handed me copy of the original purchase receipt! I informed her this wasn't proof of refund she walked to the back and came back with (Rob Ecksten ) who eventually identified himself as the owner. He couldn't properly provide the proof of refund receipt and told me very snidely it will be back in your account in a few days. When I attempted to explain why I wasn't going to eat here he became very sarcastic stating" yeah well my machine doesn't print the refund receipt and you will get your "little money" as if that was the problem!! I know places are short staffed but seriously thats just basic hygiene...

I'm sitting in front of this place pissed! A few of my coworkers and myself came here last week and today to get lunch. One coworker wanted a small pizza, he was told that they didn't serve slices or small pizzas on the weekend. So he ordered a large pizza for $28 dollars. Guess what, today he was able to order a small pizza for $14. He went back in to order another pizza to take home for his family. 15mins later only to be told that exact same pizza is now $24!! The menu says one thing yet they ring up something different.

I don't know what kind of shady business they're operating, but we will NEVER step foot in there again. After this review I will be contacting the better business and consumer affairs. They should not be able to operate a business stealing from people patronizing their...
