I've sadly experience the same treatment here on South Pickett Street and for some reason their management obviously does not care the owner does not care because nothing changes and the food is pretty good most of the time it's not a problem with the food it's the customer service at this location occasionally you'll get like less than fresh food or something a little hiccup but that's minor in comparison to the customer service here or the lack thereof I don't know which one to call it I have had employees threatened to fight me that still work here for absolutely no reason some of the people here deserve not only to not have a job to not be allowed to be in this workplace period at all, today I've never dealt with a manager here that was there today young guy very rude every time I interacted with him and for some reason literally just the nastiest demeanor the nastiest energy and the nastiest face did not say Hi how are you can I take your order nothing I had to say to him everything then he tried to give me the biggest problem over a coupon that was valid and not expired and literally nothing wrong with it I personally feel like he could just tell that I was hungry and it was maybe like race related or specifically he didn't like the way I looked or something I'm not sure I really don't care I can't hear for food not this guy's attitude and a whole psychological evaluation of why this guy doesn't like me or why he's treating me the way that he is I didn't come here for that I came here to buy food to purchase food nothing more nothing less I was just hungry and wanted Popeyes and this is the type of stuff that you have to go through out here because people are racist people are prejudiced people are rude people are judgemental and some of these people are in management positions when they just should not be let alone employed to be honest I had to like refrain from going off on this guy when I was being extremely nice and he was just being rude for no reason and it happened the same guy I actually went to Popeye's twice that day which I never do and both times the same guy was extremely rude to me, I did notice one thing there was a larger I'm not going to say his race it doesn't matter but there was a larger male in front of me that look like he worked out had bigger shoulders bigger arms a little bit and this little guy that works there said oh hi sir how are you can I take your order man if I didn't look over this kid like yo what the heck why do you treat me like such dirt and trash like I'm the filth on your shoe for no reason just trying to order food the same way this guy is and for him you say hi sir how are you how can I help you can I take your order thank you have a good day what is different between me and that guy nothing but these people think that I'm not paying attention to how they're speaking to other people and to be honest when I noticed that I was just like bro this is crazy why does he think he can just speak to me anyway he wants to my ego started to kick in but I just kept it cool and I just told him I was like I listen I think you and to be honest when I noticed that I was just like bro this is crazy I don't know why this young gentleman thinks he can speak to me any type of way he wants to and then this other guy he shows immense respect for I have no idea why this is like just crazy man nobody deserves this type of treatment I don't care who you are where you're from where we are all coming to Popeyes for one reason fresh food and good chicken we don't want your attitude we don't want your personal problems your personal beliefs we don't care about none of that we just want good food thank you this place really needs to get...
   Read moreWe ordered only dark meat at the drive thru speaker. The young man at the window charged me for our order and then a second young man showed up at the window AFTER my payment was secured. The second young man laughed at the first young man and told him in Spanish âDont worryâ as he laughed some more. Then he turned his attention toward me and said in English they only had chicken breasts and drumsticks. He also said thighs would take 8 mins to wait for. I politely said we would wait. The 2nd young man then directed us to wait in the parking lot and our order will be brought out. The 2nd young man was dressed differently in dark clothes. He appeared to be a team lead or shift manager. Based on his laughing attitude, he appeared to be showing off to his lesser experienced co-worker on how to handle a customer. We waited 20 mins before I stepped out toward the store. I met the first young man at their unmarked back door as I was coming to the building to check on our order. He had just started to come out and was in the doorway as I contacted him. I asked him if that was our order. He said Yes and handed it to me. He didnt say thank you for waiting or thank you or even youâre welcome after I said thank you. He just sheepishly handed me the order as if he already knew there was something wrong with it. The 2nd laughing young man was nowhere to be seen. When we got home we noticed for our order consisted of cold and old chicken. The order only had breasts and drumsticks which was what was offered in the first place and we rejected. We waited 20 mins for the same old chicken that was sitting around and they couldnt get rid of. The final insult was adding a cold apple pie that we didnt order as if it was some kind of consolation for us accepting the storeâs old chicken that was going to be thrown out and for being made to wait 20 mins longer than we needed to in an attempt to fool us into thinking our order was being made fresh. We could have easily cancelled our order if they had just been honest in the first place about not wanting to make us a fresh order. Why make a family wait over double the original quoted wait time of 8 mins for cold and old food that we didnt want in the first place?? At least four cars came and went through the drive thru as we waited to be taken advantage of and be treated with a lack of respect. Why wasnt our courtesy returned? This is yet another example of how customer service has declined tremendously. I can see why other customers are video taped just going off and acting crazy at drive thru windows and at fast food restaurant counters. There is just a pervasive selfish and rude manner of acting toward customers these days. Itâs getting worse and itâs a very sad state we are all in.    Read moreWhere do I even start? Waited in line for 10 minutes with 4 cars in front of me at the speaker. Not a single car moved in those 10 minutes. Finally 2 of the cars just drove off, giving up. They were the smart ones. The front car finally drove up to the window. I pulled up to the speaker. I loudly said "Hello?!" For about a 2-3 minutes before pulling up the the drive in window. Figured the speaker was broken and I'd just place my order with a person. The speaker wasn't broken. The cashier asked me what my order was as he scrolled thru the screen. I told him no one answered at the screen, so I just drove up. He seemed annoyed (not at me, but at those who were not doing their job). He took my order and I paid. He asked me to park with a few other cars and said they would bring out my food. I waited about 25 minutes in that parking lot. Finally my food came and I drove off. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home. I had extra tenders! Figured they threw them if cause of the long wait. Oh wait a second. I ordered 3 sides and only got 2. Also I didn't get any of biscuits (as everyone knows, that's one of the main reasons to go to Popeyes to begin with). Finally when I bit into my chicken I discovered they had given me spicy.
