Update.Reynolds Street stopped their delivery partners with the exception of slice. Have you seen the price for slice delivery? It's as bad as doordash. Grubhub has best the most reasonable in cost with great service. I can no longer afford the pizza at Reynolds with higher delivery costs. Ashame too. It's good pizza.
I just ordered my delivery and got it here.I ordered a large pizza With half pepperoni and half feta cheese. What I got was just a plain cheese pizza. And what was really kind of weird is it is a little bit raw. I just cooked it the rest of the way in a frying pan on the stove. I don't think they put it far enough into the oven to cook. I used make pizzas for 2 well known franchises years ago. We are talking 20 plus years ago.. the businesses are thriving to this day.. it's not pizza hut, or dominoes, etc. Yuck. I do have to say the reviews were not wrong about the taste. The pizza is very tasty. I just think I should have gotten what I ordered without having to finish cooking it myself. Thanks................I have to do an update here. After I cooked the pizza in the frying pan, and flipping it like a pancake, I saw the pepperoni. When I lifted the cheese, I could see a little pepperoni. I could not taste it until I bit directly on the pepperoni. I think maybe a little more pep and you could really taste it. I did say the taste is really good. I did not know how to update this review, and just did the best I could. I don't want to confuse folks. Out of the 4 reviews I have done, it says I have had over 1100 people view them. I had no idea of that. I know I read and depend on these reviews to make my decisions. I will be ordering...
Read moreWe tried it for the first time last week and I was hoping it could be our new neighborhood bar. We ordered a round of drinks on happy hour, wings, the white pizza, and a gyro. All the food was very good. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster. She was good then would disappear then be great. HH ended at 7 and from 650 til 705 we could not see her anywhere. Our drinks were empty and it ended up being the difference of getting another round or not, I wanted a drink while I was eating but once the food was basically done I didn't need another drink. I was not impressed with that aspect. I liked the fact that rail drinks are so heavily discontinued but it's rail, you get what you pay for. Beer being discounted is nice. I really wish there could be a mid level range of liquor that was on hh, like $5 Tito's or $5 captain. The other big thing that will be a factor of us going there or across the street to Shooters is the fact that no food is on happy hour. The food was all good but sometimes you just want a nibble and a small order of cheese fries or a baby order of wings for a reasonable price would...
Read moreMy first time here tonight. I've been looking for a "local" feeling (re: non-chain) after-work bar since I moved here.
My first impression was great. The girls at the entrance greeted me with smiles and we're happy to point me to the bar. Both bartenders (Evie & George) greeted me and promptly took my drink orders. George was happy to recommend a dinner pick between my choices (the Steak and Cheese, minus lettuce, add mushrooms......would order again!).....
Staff were friendly and attentive, but not intrusive...a hard balance to acheive. But what struck me was that even on a Friday night, as the bartenders were balancing table-orders, bar-customers, etc.....any idle moment either of them had they spent with rag-in-hand cleaning something. And that, to me, is what separates a quality dive-bar from a sketchy bar you're scared of.
Overall, after my first night here....I'm impressed and am looking forward to my second visit. I'd recommend it for a drink (I just had beer and a whiskey....but George was mixing cocktails with clean confidence for other patrons) or ..based on my one...
