I am a regular at meijer and Starbucks. I have gotten to know a lot of the baristas. I think they are all so friendly. I enjoy chatting with them when they are not busy. I noticed the other day they had all their face piercings out. The girl told me management said they had to take them out or wear a mask! That makes absolutely NO sense š¤·š»āāļø or they said they could put band-aides over them. š that is ridiculous. Thatās what kids and young adults do these days. Iām in my 40ās and have a Daughter that has facial piercings. We better get used to it. I was there one morning, and the poor girl was by herself! She was still very pleasant and did the best she could. I tried to tip her, but she said she wasnāt allowed to take tips š¢ Management needs to focus on having no ice or running out of stuff or stuff breaking. I swear every time I am there something is broken or they are out of something. Is that Starbucks owned by meijer? I have never seen that happen at any other Starbucks. Come on management get your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDont come here if you want to be around nice/normal people. Always at least 1 person has a bad attitude. For example, went in today to get a drink and 2 cake pops for my kids. Where they keep the food, it was empty. They wrote on the glass something along the lines of "we still have pastries/cookies, just ask!" So I asked the woman if they still had cake pops, her rude response was, "yes we do, if theres a tag in there then we do. That's why theres a sign out." Blank look on her face and snotty tone of voice. 1st-there was no "sign", and 2nd there was NOTHING written on the glass saying anything about tags. It said to ask. Maybe dont come to work with attitude, maybe put an actual sign out or write something about the tags. Then you dont have to answer these super...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a caramel ribbon crunch they were out of the crunchy pieces so they asked me if I would prefer a different topping, which I very much appreciated. They were very nice professional in there. Iām only giving 4 stars because Meijer needs to change their tipping policy. The workers are not allowed to accept tips merely because they are located inside of the grocery store and not in a stand alone Starbucks. I believe they would have better employment retention if they allowed these hardworking people to be compensated by customers with gratuities. There is absolutely no reason why they arenāt...
