Thai Fusion Rockford — Restaurant in Algoma Township

Went there today and my food was not good. Ordered the Kicker appetizer and they were so skimpy on the filling It was literally just fried wonton wrappers. They gave me one tiny little thing of sweet and sour for an order of kickers and two spring rolls. I asked for soy when I was picking my food up and she literally told me it's fifty cents extra a package. I've never heard of this in my life when you're already ordering carry out. She told me it was because the food was cooked with soy so extra costs extra money. I could have laughed out loud. Talk about cheap af and a total insult to paying customers. Then my card wasn't swiping so she continued to swipe it multiple times. She then told me my card had insufficient funds. I asked her if she charged me multiple times since she swiped my card multiple times and she said no. I was using my boyfriends card so I asked him to send me a Screen shot of his transactions because we in fact had been charged twice plus a random $11 charge. Now I understand that this happens. What upset me was the fact that she had the audacity to say that the other charges must have been from a different day. We have not been here in months. Overall a bad experience and we will not be going back...ever.

We LOVE the food here! It is certainly one of our weaknesses if we are traveling from our home in Caledonia to our cottage in Newaygo, we stop here many times to grab dinner to go.

You usually do not have to wait very long either. When I order, no matter the time, it is usually a 15-20 minute preparation time.

Staff is always very friendly. We have order many, many times and have never had our order wrong either.

Our go to is the Pad Thai.

Chicken is always good, but my husband loves the shrimp and I love the pork. For just a few dollars more, you can get double meat, and we always get extra peanut sauce too.

We usually order Medium, but Mild Plus, and Mild are very good too. We usually always get an order of their fresh rolls. They certainly are fresh and delicious.

I also absolutely love their chicken fried rice, and Tom Kha soup too. Their Peanut Curry Chicken is also very good.

Really like the place and have been there several times now. First it’s the only Thai food place around and they actually do a great job. I know there was an old bad review on pad Thai but that is typically what I get and it’s fantastic! I’ve also had the fried rice and the curry and they have all been great. The stir fry maybe was a little under spiced but generally it’s very good and honestly way better than many run of the mill Chinese food places. This is very good and it’s Thai!
