Their ok, the menu isn't too bad on pricing for some things, mainly breakfast, and the food itself was pretty good. The only complaints I have is when my chicken and waffles was served, one of the tenders accidently fell off the plate so she asked if I wanted another made and of course I was like yeah for sure. Once I get the bill I then realized that they charged me extra for the one tender, and then while I was checking out I left my card so I could put my two toddlers in the car, and I let the waitress know and she didn't say anything about the card. After I get back to get my card, I then realized, again, that they up charged me $1.25 for not using cash and I looked around to make sure there wasn't a sign saying extra charge for card use, and there wasn't and she didn't say anything beforehand either. So 2 surcharges with no communication about it beforehand....going to be a bit before I come back, but at least now I know to only bring cash, bc they won't say...

The best part of this restaurant was the beautiful location and view of the lake across the street. I had an omelette which was good but not great. I tried my wife’s leftover patty melt which was just OK. She didn’t want the rest of it because it was too salty for her taste. For desert I had the butter pecan ice cream. Most of it was good, but some of it was HORRIBLE. My wife shared it with me and she said the same thing. I had to spit several times to try to get the taste out of my mouth because I was no longer in the restaurant so I didn’t have any water or anything to wash away the taste. It was very strange, and I’ve never experienced anything like that. Later, I had stomach problems, apparently from the food...

Was looking forward to a nice weekday lunch. Stepped into a confused atmosphere, had to ask one of two waitstaff where to sit. Noticed other very unhappy customers. One waitress was standing behind counter having problems rubbing two brain cells together. The other one was performing seemingly random tasks, bringing one plate of food or a drink out to different tables at a time and burned one customer with a hot plate. After 17 minutes, two-cell smiled and asked how we were. When I told her we were waiting for menus, she flourished her hands and just said, "As you can see, we're busy." We got up and left....

Got in at 11:00 am for breakfast and waited almost an hour for our food. The waitress never came over and asked if we needed more drinks during our wait. The waitress never explained why it was taking so long for the food. There were 5 of us and 3 of us got our food first a minute or two later the 4th person got their food and then the 5th person got their food a few more after that, minus the toast. The toast came a couple minutes later like the picture shows.

Stopped in for lunch, I was going to chill on the beach they were doing raking. I ordered a double deans with bacon and added country gravy. That country gravy was pretty legit, needs pepper for my taste. You can taste the sausage as it permeates it. Had cheese curds added the rest of the country gravy on top. This place was a great call. All right across the beach. I'm thinking the butterscotch malt won't disappoint.

We stopped for ice cream. The ice cream is kemps and the portions a great bang for your buck. I recommend walking across to the park to enjoy. We went with waffle cones for our boys since it was an 85* day and a large “container” for melting factor. That said the ice cream was really cold and hard when we started so it was able to be enjoyed.
