The two workers were cooking and serving as fast as they could, communicating with loud voices. A couple of people were waiting for large orders and a few people were in line. I was pleased that the workers were working diligently, even if the server was a bit stern or impatient with her customers. I don't blame her, because there should have been three working there. But who am I to say?
Until the impossible orange chicken, it has always been disappointing to eat vegetarian at Panda Express. At all locations, there rarely seems to be enough greens and other vegetarian entrees. The rice and chow mein aren't very tasty so the impossible orange helps round that out a bit. At my latest visit, there was barely half a serving of greens and the server, bless her heart, offered to also give me some broccoli. Well It's disappointing to have to pick out strips of cow from your food. But who am I to complain? This server maybe has no idea what is a vegetarian or why it's important. Maybe the manager of the store doesn't understand the basic food principles of vegan, vegetarian, clean and unclean (kosher/halal)? Well, I still enjoyed the meal.
I came to Panda Express because I'm staying the week with my son who lives near a billboard depicting the impossible orange chicken, and my mouth salivated at the image, lol. So after shopping, I drove as fast as the law allowed, and maybe a bit faster in "the Illinois way", for that sweet Impossible experience. Well, I've had it a couple of times at two locations, and it is passable, with overcooking making the texture kind-of tougher then it's meat counterpart. My wife is not vegetarian and she would not finish her serving of Impossible orange chicken. We often eat other impossible brand things and she likes those okay. My advice, after many years of veggie-meats is to cook it less.
Anyway, this Panda Express is clean and functioning well. And before I go back home, I'll stop in for...
Read moreI rarely get breaks off so I normally door dash panda express. Tell me why every single time there's always no sauce for the teriyaki chicken? I didn't pay just for grilled chicken and I would love to add something on top even soy sauce. The panda express in crystal lake doesn't do this and Huntley doesn't either. Every single time I think it's gonna be a different experience here and it just isn't. The portions are pretty bad too. I don't even get chicken filling the small boxes or rice. I don't blame the drivers because they're not affiliated or are responsible. This panda express just literally is inadequate and very mid. I bought my coworker and I both plates with teriyaki chicken and us crab ragoons. No soy sauce, no sweet and sour, and obviously no teriyaki or I wouldn't be writing this review after 2 years of the same consistency. I always give the benefit of the doubt and obviously it's not a big big deal. However, experiencing the same thing over and over again and not being able to leave work in the moment makes everything difficult. I just wish for once I had a correct order at this location. I won't be ordering doordash at work for here and I won't be...
Read moreI placed an order online for the Panda Express In Algonquin Illinois. The website said they deliver and I accidentally placed it for pickup. Once I realized it I called and asked if I can switch it. The lady on the phone was rude and kept saying they don’t deliver and I explained on their website it says they do. She literally laughed at me and hung up. So about 20 min later a lady named Emily called me and said that they do deliver and she can do what she can do switch it. She was super nice. And helped me get my food delivered. Shout out to Emily for taking time to cal me back and making a customer happy. . 5 stars for Emily. But 0 stars for the rude lady who...
