Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Algonquin

It's Chick-fil-A, it's freakin' delicious. Brand new building, looks very nice and sparkling clean fresh and pretty. Drive thru is all that was open when I visited. It's actually a pretty smart idea for the drive thru though. The lanes are wider so more cars can fit in and order and go thru faster and more efficiently. The lanes squeeze down and condense as you go around the corner and then they open up again. Instead of a window or two that can only serve one car at a time, you drive under this awning kinda thing and the employee's run out to individual cars and read back the order and you pay and go. So, however many people they have working that spot is how fast they can go. Makes a lot of sense in a world post Covid where I imagine less people opt to dine in and most probably prefer to hit up a drive thru and feel more safe. Really like how they have their system set up, it's super fast and efficient. Makes a huge difference considering how it's it's busy and packed too. You still move thru the line quickly, maybe even faster than you would at a shorter line done with windows the traditional way. The chicken and waffle fries are amazing and delicious and if you're reading this because you've never had Chick-fil-A, just stop reading now and go try it. Just a warning: It'll ruin all other fast food chicken and some others that aren't "fast food" too. It's dangerously...

Take the drive to the crystal lake chick-fil-a. Trust me!. DONT COME TO THIS LOCATION!!! Went through the drive through spent 40 DollarS on lunch for my family of 4. After a 10 minute drive back home we realized stuff was missing . So we drive the 10 minutes back with all our food. Brought all the food back into the restaurant. Didn't want to keep it because at this point it's getting cold. They gave me the missing contents but refused to remake the food or even just the fries. Rude front register staff! And after another 10 minute ride back home and our food being well over 30 minutes old, now I have 40 dollars of soggy cold food because they refused to remake the order or any part of it. Thanks for the simi luke warm sandwiches, stale cold fries and watered down sodas I received. I'll take my business to crystal lake as thier customer service and food quality is top notch over there. Sometimes it's just the simple things in life. The chicken is always tasty and fresh here. My son who is autistic, asked if they do refills and I honestly wasn't sure but I saw it as an opportunity for him to venture out and be more independent so I said go find out. He went up there stood in line and then asked when it was his turn, but a young guy with curly hair, said to my son to take the lid off, I'll give you the refill and took care of it. So I saw it as a great moment and walked up to him before I left and I said to him, you're very polite with my son and told him a little bit about what he just experienced and I said, thank you for helping him out, you are very polite and I don't know where you go from here but...
