Today I think I should right My experience as an employee at Algonquin Wendy’s . Well as you know if you showed up to this location I always am quit respectfull and don’t react to comments I respond to questions my experience is very different from other employees because of me being white . I work at Wendy’s for about two months. Every day was very busy and people wasnt happy about there food because there was poor communication skills with the whole team . I got food born illness while working there because I would eat there not to mention being a white girl I got pushed around not respected by others so I had no problem paying for my food I eat . Thinking I get a discount at least for me being an employee was also judged I guess of me being in the Algonquin west end location and I as a 23 year old white young lady an I am writing this because I am very disappointed as a person who knows her value of her self I shouldn’t have went threw so much unnecessary stuff.. I give the staff and manger Marcus a 5/10 in there store because yes the food usually is fresh but my experience was impacted a lot . me having serve safe certificates I thought I should work at fast food to get enough experience but I am awear fast food is not a line cook position and 10 dollars will not be my pay once I continue my future in the food business thanks to who ever reads...
Read moreI placed a mobile app order around 8:15 pm last night.
First the app was having technical problems so I wasn’t able to use any rewards. I ordered two chocolate frosties, a 4 for 4 and one chicken nugget kids meal. I go to pickup my food and they say they are out of chocolate frosties, Okay not a big deal but you are known for your frosties specifically chocolate and just ran out? Well then I leave and notice they gave me the wrong order. They didn’t give me the 4 for 4 they gave me two kids meal instead. The one being a cheeseburger with only ketchup (a normal junior cheeseburger that was supposed to come with the 4 for 4 has more then just ketchup on the burger such as onions and pickles etc.) it was also missing the chicken nuggets. So I drive back to get my correct order and hand the lady back the kids meal. After she handed me the new bag I opened it up and realized she just put the kids cheeseburger in a new bag and didn’t give me the correct burger once again like I asked.
It shouldn’t be that hard to give me the correct order. The drive thru wasn’t busy at all and there was no customers inside. The place had a good amount of employees inside from what I could see. Honestly not surprising at all why there are a lot of negative reviews and it’s hardly ever busy when I pass by...
Read moreFood is fine. But customer service is non existing especially when they made a mistake. When through drive thru and checked food in parking lot. Missing 2 fries so I called asked if they can run them out as there was 6-7 car in drive thru and I have 2 - 4 year olds in the car and don’t want food to get cold from sitting in line again. Jazlin the manager told me they are short and really busy so cannot have someone run them out. It would have taken 30 seconds to a minute to bring them out. Told me my only options are to sit in the line or come in even though told her I have 2 little ones in the car. So I had to take them out do the car and go in to get the fries but had to stand at counter for about minute or so before someone even acknowledged I was there. If you made the mistake of not giving me my food as I had 3 bags of food so couldn’t check right away to hold up line then at least have the courtesy and customer service to fix your issue and make it convenient for...
