Horrible!! Iāve been here when itās super busy on a Saturday and didnāt get treated like I did today. There was me and maybe 1 more person in line and the lady in the black shirt behind the counter who is the supervisor or who was working on 8/2/22 at 1pm was rude. She rushed me like the world was ending. I asked for avocado, tomato and cream cheese and when she saw the avocado was out instead of opening a new one she scooped what was left?!?! Iām not paying for that!?! So she then she hardly put any lemon pepper!?! I asked for an ice coffee and again spit out speaking like fire!? I said light ice gave me like no ice. I had to tell her āI know your busy but you need to slow down Iām pregnant and your rushing me giving me anxietyā that was not worth the 18$ I hope the manager speaks to her and reimburse me. Literally Iām here now still itās dead 4 employees and sheās more concerned about stocking then customer service. Also they never answer the phone, Iāve called several...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm a regular here, and I'm rarely dissapointed. Their bagels are fresh made every morning, and you can see them bake through a window into their kitchen! The staff is quick and kind, and theres a million different ways to have your bagel and eat it too. Theres bagels that kids can eat (chocolate chip bagels, cinnamon sugar, plain, onion, etc) but also bagels that can make some gournet stuff (cheesy hasbrown, rosemary olive oil). You can have just butter or cream cheese, make a lunch sandwich, or have one of their many breakfast creations (Western brisket is my personal fav). The only gripe I have is that they recently started using peppered bacon, and its just not my vibe.
Theres room inside, but theres also outside seating (which is nice on a sunny day, theres lots of people that bring their dogs). The biggest problem is that, on a saturday morning, its incredibly busy. The line can get out the door! But thats a good problem...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLived in Aliso Viejo for 16 years, loved Brueggers for 15. Once the pandemic hit they were the only local favorite not to offer safer minimal-contact options. No judgement there, everyone had to cope. Unfortunately after becoming fully vaccinated, my three return trips over the last month convinced me to never go back again. Ever. Zero safety standards. Customers with chin diapers crowding the line, workers with their noses hanging over their masks pull them down to talk as they prepare food. No one respecting seating or distancing requirements, gotta chow down that cinnamon raisin to go with the cool aid. I can't really blame a business for catering to the crazy anti-science crowd in order to survive. Don't blame me for never wanting to associate with that business either. Vaccinated or not, my kids and my coworkers deserve their bagels without a...
