The lady that served us what extremely nice and tried to be as helpful as possible but didn't seem to know that much about what was on the menu or how things were prepared, this surprised me. Me and my wife ordered the carne asada meals along with two beers, and guac with our chips. The guac was pretty good but when the food came I was so disappointed. Instead of the carne asada being made with skirt meat they opted for ribeye cut thin like shirt meat. The meat had a gamy smell to it like it had been sitting for several days in a fridge and was about to go bad. The beans were luke warm and the rice was pretty bland. I tried to eat it but it was messing up my stomach. My wife looked at me and wasn't sure if we should keep eating it. I wasn't sure either so we erred on the side of caution. I am from southern california and I have never seen anything like this before??
I had to use the bathroom because my guts were not happy about what I just put in it, While I was in the bathroom I noticed that every single bathroom stall had a busted door so I had to hold it closed while I tried to do my business. Then as I go to the sink to wash my hands I notice that there is absolutely no soap anywhere! This really grossed me out so after rinsing my hands in the sink I went to my car to get hand sanitizer, We decide to order fried ice cream thinking, ok we will at least get a sweet treat on our way out and after taking a bite of the icecream I spit it out. The preservatives in the cornmeal or cereal or whatever they used had gone bad and it had that nasty bad preservative smell and taste. We told the server about the situation and she seemed confused. We then ordered the churros as one desperate attempt to salvage our dinner and the churros were disgusting. They were over doughy in the center had a weird taste and were dried out and greasy on the outside and they decorated the plates with so much crap I got it all over my hand sanitizer hands =( Eventhough it was happy hour they charged us full price for the beer and never told us about the happy hour beer special and our bill for 2 stinky carne asadas 2 beers a guac and 2 churros that we hated came to almost 80 dollars which is after they took off the health hazard fried ice cream and gave us 10% off =((((
So we will never ever go back to this place again. Guys please do your research before you go to a restaurant. Learn how food is supposed to look and be prepared. You can no longer trust restaurants to have your best...
Read moreSadly, the only good service we have had in there is the blonde girl who takes care of us she is always sweet and makes sure everything is perfect thank you! However, going here on May 5th was a disaster. Not only was I presented with over-intoxicated patrons blocking the door, but we then moved on to a crowded vestibule and a very unorganized lobby with a clueless greater that allowed others to step in front of us until I had to say something. Finally, even though I had reservations that I was told I didn't do right... my family waited for 45 minutes even though we were told a half hour. We were forgotten about again and it flustered the woman greater so she found us a quick table which was atrocious. The floor was wet I almost slipped and fell. We sat at a fold-out plastic table with Creed playing so loud I couldn't hear our favorite waitress who knew I was mad. So we left. A few days later we returned thinking hey one bad night let's go again we went and had another terrible experience. The waitress was rude flustered and rolled her eyes, she called us man and lady. She would disappear for 20 to 30 minutes. Our food was overcooked and salty. I asked for a general manager I couldn't find him myself and she never told him we needed to speak. I left no tip and you're lucky...
Read moreI went there with my family, spent decently had gotten 3 dishes, Birria tacos, Baja Fish tacos and burrito Fajitas (steak and Chicken) also a Virgin Pina colada. Now the birria tacos where stuffed absolutely loved it besides the birria sauce, taste oddly sweet like it was made with Campbell's tomato soup/paste, this ruined the tacos for me personally, The Baja Fish tacos where bland, the fish didn't have flavor itsself but reliant on its toppings. The Burrito Fajitas (Steak) was seasoned very well to my liking as if I I told them how to do it, but there was some kinda sauce or toppings half way that killed my taste and tasted rottenly sour, chicken was ok but couldn't finish due to expecting that taste again. I had a virgin Pina colada and that was very very good, the service was extremely nice especially coming in an hour before they closed which I felt bad for but they were very nice as if family owned (I maybe wrong they could be) the atmosphere was as if I were back home really made me feel welcomed, my daughter and I love the music and danced a little even, all in all I would try again but get something...
