I would really Like to see two All Star Employees Recognized This location is the best of the best of the best Because of them….
Upon entering this location, We Met Denean, and while I originally would’ve written about how incredible our food, and Especially Our server was, I’ll get to that in a moment but I would really like to include Denean, Because she really was so perfect at Her Post, She made shopping fun, and truthfully, I probably bought way more than I came for or ever would’ve normally, as she was so Helpful and Really went out of Her way to offer the best selection and Gathered the items and boxes and even checked Your system immediately offering to see if something was carried in my small size, she was super knowledgeable and really did the single best job I’ve ever seen in any one of your stores, She should really be applauded for a Job well done, A Good person does what’s right even when no one is looking, and I can only imagine how many times she’s provided your customers with The Best Customer care and it’s never been known Because I know Most people remember their food, the servers, etc., But Denean was an incredible person, doing an above and beyond job, and was really Deserving of an “Honorable Mention” and a round of applause from Her employers and any bonuses or promotions Available Because I have no doubt she will do the best with whatever work She’s given Because she genuinely cares for your customers and Loves Her job, It comes through in Her treatment of your customers she really makes shopping fun!!!!
Speaking of Exceptional, Julie, who has been with your company for over twenty years providing the single best service for the customers once they sit At Her Table that anyone could ask for Deserves such appreciation, even at this point from the corporate level, Because she’s really dedicated Her life making sure Customers have everything they need and then some, she really sets the bar, not just meeting, but far exceeding guests Hope for All-Star customer service, She really deserves recognition, We were Here 4 or 5 yrs. Ago at this location (We live in Lancaster County) we had Her then, and Today, it was a blessing to have Her again, and will no doubt ask for Her when we return, There isn’t a friendlier, more exceptional server who Cracker Barrel Could ask for to have with their guests, with Julie, You feel “at Home” she is so welcoming, thoughtful, consistent and Deserves a warm pat on the back for a Job well done, that’s never really done because we all know a server walks around all day on Hard floors, carrying every single thing every person they serve will ever eat, drink, or discard, It’s often Thankless, Well I’m Here today to say I really Hope Her management and Hopefully even corporate office sends a Warm Thank You to Her for Her life of Service Because I’ve owned Restaurants, Bed and Breakfasts, and am an award winning chef, You could not hope to have someone more exceptional than Julie to Be there for your guests, She’s a Marvel, and really could write the manual on How to serve guests, But also all those things and traits only the best 1% has that are composed of all the talents and gifts you can’t train, She’s got them, and Then some, Julie is The Very Best and Deserves such Appreciation because I know she Makes the entire meal a complete “Experience” and a presentation of Warmth, Care, Courtesy, and Delicious Food Served With Heart
Thanks Julie and Denean, From The Guys from...
Read moreI try not to be negative about hosts/hostesses at restaurant's especially if they are "handicapable", however the young man at our recent visit was a bit rude. He got a touch of attitude because when he asked how many in our party we responded with "3" he looked around and said (with some salt in his tone) "I can't seat you unless the whole party is present. One person in our party just happened to need the restroom and I wanted to get my 83 year old mom to a chair. Needless to say we stood there while several patrons (which I'm assuming were regulars) just waltzed right in and sat where they pleased! If this is the policy of this business, it is in my opinion not a customer friendly one. This policy should be reviewed and a better one put in place for the older people coming in to dine. I'm going to add to my first review. We thought we'd give Cracker Barrel another shot on 4/20/25, (which of course happened to be Easter Sunday) we made sure to call the previous day to ask about their Easter Dinner special. At that time the lady on the phone seemed a bit confused as to just what came with the dinner and unfortunately did not inform us that if we were coming for that specific dinner to come early because it wouldn't be served all day. (Due to the fact they'll most likely run out of EVERYTHING! 🤔) had we been privy to that information we'd have either come earlier or not at all, but I guess they're in the mind set that if patron's come in for that special then (oh well, who cares if we can't accommodate them) they'll stay and eat anyhow, so we're still making that oh mighty dollar for our pockets! Kudos to this establishment (insert sarcasm here). Well much to our disdain we did unfortunately stay and order something different from the menu, I mean at that point what else do you do. And for those if you thinking "get up and leave, you have that choice" hind sight as they say. So, this is what we opted for, room temp. paste that was trying to disguise itself as mashed potatoes with what I'm certain was topped with a carefully measured 1/4 TSP. gravy and the meatloaf that was encrusted with a protective armour of char. (Was not edible) I could go on, but I'll just end with this. Not worth the money we spent for this experience. Thanks for an unforgettable
Read moreI’ve went to Cracker Barrel’s in many, many states…this was the VERY WORST meal & especially Service in ANY restaurant I’ve ever went to. Order coffee & hot tea - they do not have SPOONS. I went to ask & my choices were a ice tea spoon or soup spoon. Ok - maybe not a big deal for some, yet by the time I STEPPED in front of a waitress to be acknowledged & ask for one, they went back & forth the doorway of the kitchen to present my with the ice tea spoon. We were seated & it took 8 minutes for a waitress to bring menus & ask what we wanted to drink. I said we were ready to order, but she’d already walked away. 7 minutes later, our coffee & tea were brought to the table & neither were even close to warm. My order had 2 eggs over easy - one egg had so much uncooked slime in it, it was not edible. My 2nd over easy egg had NO liquid at all. My bacon was extremely uncooked. My husband received no syrup for his pancakes with no toast he had ordered for his eggs.We never saw our waitress to ask for any so he ate his eggs INSIDE the pancakes for flavor. The next time for the waitress, she brought us the bill. Never checked to see if meal was alright or maybe refill coffee or tea. I may have understood some of this, yet the section we were sitting in had 2 other tables with 1 COUPLE each eating. It was the least amount of people in a Cracker Barrel I had ever seen. In the meantime, all 5 waitresses stood in the tiny room I literally stepped in front of someone to ask for a spoon. When waitress finally gave us our bill, she didn’t bother to ask how the meal was. Went to register to pay & they didn’t ask either. Which is why such a long review. I would have asked to speak to a manager, but the experiences I had in every part of the place - it would be well known that absolutely NOTHING would have even been tried to resolve anything. I honestly believe I would have stood outside the entrance & let everyone know, but I had to leave. With this food & service I’d like to say, it would have been quicker to...
