Some friends and I had our monthly book club meeting at the brand new local business, Custard on the Avenue, and I canā€™t say enough good things about it! The moment you step in, youā€™re transported back in time to a 50s/60s ice cream parlor feel. The menu is stacked with tons of unique items and all of them sound delicious, I already know Iā€™ll have to go back again to try others. Not to mention, everything is Michigan made! We chatted a bit with the owners who are lovely people and they told us more plans they have coming, and thereā€™s a lot. Make sure you check out this new establishment!

Having just opened, the business was extremely busy with a long line. Patience is key here, everyone is new and the custard is definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere inside reminds me of a coffee shop with small tables and chairs around. There is patio seating outside which was nice on such a beautiful evening. I hope they are successful. There are plenty of flavors of custard along with floats, sundays, and various combinations and toppings. Allen Park is looking up with this great addition, now let's get a Sheetz to round everything out.

Really generous on the toppings and the custard was really good. Super clean, really cute decor and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

What an awesome experience! We've heard all kinds of good things about Custard on the Avenue and wanted to see if the hype was real. We couldn't have been happier with the experience! The staff greeted us as we came in, and were kind enough to discuss their amazing products with us. We got Calder ice cream sundaes and they were outstanding! The store itself is clean and nicely decorated. A place to hang out for sure. Plenty of plugs to charge phones/laptops. The prices are very fair as they use top of the line products. No corners are cut. If you are looking for a great dessert spot with the family or friends don't hesitate. This is the spot in Allen Park. We will...

This place just made 100s of dollars in 30 mins of our Hockey team coming in and our team was the only people in the building which no one was in a rush or frazzled. Clearly for some reason the guy/owner whoever with the long hair working couldn't handle it and started yelling had an attitude and slamming stuff around while the other workers were doing just fine with pleasant attitudes. Last time they will be getting my money especially being part of the city of Allen park!!! Our kids shouldn't be asking what they did wrong when no one was acting crazy running around or acting inappropriate. We were literally all just talking hanging out and by no means in a rush waiting on...

Very nice place. Well decorated. Friendly staff, owner. But....... as an older school guy used to going to places like the Washtenaw dairy, Calders dairy. Cooks dairy. You pay a price but you get a single cone the size of a soft ball!! Here you pay a high price but the size cone left me feeling wanting!! Very small. Similar to Baskin Robins golf ball size cones. These are tennis ball size.

I know the cost of things have gone through the roof and I'm sure they spent a fortune on this class act remodel. I will likely go back to help support the local business, but not often as I would have. In my book, the price is to high for the value.
