The Pizza Joint — Restaurant in Allentown

So we were so excited to try this Since we live in the area and saw some videos on social media of their cheese steak sandwiches . Anyways I order through their website which takes us to slice . It was a bit pricey but I was like it looks so good maybe the price is justified . I was wrong ! Horrible . Pizza was okay my son really enjoyed it but the sandwiches no . First of all I ordered a California cheesesteak and got regular cheesesteak with cheese sauce and marina . I called back to explain I ordered a Cali cheesesteak (comes with lettuces , Tomatoes, onions no cheese sauce or marina ) their website had this description as well . Plus this is my favorite type of cheesesteak so I know for a fact what it comes with . Anyways the girl was nice enough to send me out “the right one “ 30-40 min later , THEY SEND THE SAME CHEESESTEAK. Meat, marina sauce and cheese whiz !! That is not California cheesesteak! I called back extremely annoyed and tell them and at this point I don’t want anything just wanted make them aware . Girl on phone had nerve to tell me that’s how they make their California cheesesteak and slice has it wrong . I said I ordered directly through your site and it redirected me . You should contact slice correct your website menu descriptions. And in all honestly I would or ate it but I hate cheese whiz and marina on cheesesteak hence why I always order California cheesesteak. Such a let down on both our excitement to try this place and our wallet !

My boyfriend had cousin vinny cheesesteak and said it was just ALRIGHT! Not worth the price at all .

We have eaten wayyy better cheesesteak worth every buck . And this isn’t it :

Only reason I gave them 2 stars is for the pizza that my son loved . And if I order again it would be pizza for my son.

Just went there with my son, We ordered 2 large pies with pepperoni and a large cheese steak with just cheese and large cheese fries.. This was our 1st time visiting. When we came in there was a customer talking about how good the cheesesteak was and the owner was videotaping him to put on Facebook an instant gram My son showed me the video and we are actually in the background in the mirror that's so funny. When you are there you feel at home very friendly atmosphere Great people skills I'm very clean inside. His display of pizza's different colors different flavors are amazing And I am a chef for 30 years And I am from Bronx New York. You can smell How good the food was gonna be. Me And my son Are looking around and they had some amazing desserts (Good place to go if you're going on a date night) The desserts are located in refrigerator that they have But they were so exotic And so tasty I was so amazed. Once we got are food the food was very very hot . When we got home we checked the pizza first It had fresh Basil that gave it an extra smell when you open the Box just tempting you to eat at that moment. When we pulled out the 1st slices, The mozzarella nice and thick And the pepperoni's were small but very spicy and lot of flavor The pizza sauce has incredible flavor all put together was an incredible bite of delicious pizza just like at home.. Finally I found a pizzeria in PA that can match New York's pizza anytime any place. The cheesesteak had incredible flavor also I like the roll especially sesame seed part The cheese sauce for the cheese fries is Home Made it is very very creamy and cheesy loved it. And I have eaten at Genoes in Philadelphia and there cheese steaks are great. So if you're looking for a little flavor of New York or Philadelphia I recommend this...

The cheesesteak was very good. One of the best cheesesteaks I ever had, ever. BUT, if you’re gonna eat here I recommend you either taking it to go or getting it delivered. The dine in experience was very unwelcoming. They do not bring the food to you, unless he knows you personally. If I’m dining in, I expect the food to be brought to me. The owner is very arrogant and talks to his workers and deliver drivers as if they’re his servants. It was very uncomfortable witnessing how he treats them. One of the workers even got mad at the owner and started having a outburst and started throwing items into the boxes and was cursing because he was mad at the owners attitude. The owner was very rude to my niece and I because we asked twice where our pizza was because we were waiting for our pie for over 30 minutes. He caught a attitude and told us “we had to wait, geesh” then when it was time to go, I stood at the register and he asked what did I want? I asked him for a Togo box and he asked me “why do I need a box if I had one?” With a attitude. I told him we were splitting the pizza and going to separate locations and he handed me another box with a attitude. So I gave him a attitude back and decided to leave my pizza. The pizza also wasn’t good, btw. I let him know I would not come back to the establishment ever again. He only smiles and is nice to those he knows, if he doesn’t know you, he will not be respectful. He just seems like he wants your money and wants you to go about your business. He needs to learn better customer service because he honestly gives a horrible vibe as if he does not like people of color. When I left out the store his daughter walked outside the establishment and yelled out a vulgar slur to me. I will never return. Hope the owner works on his arrogant...
