Review of Grinder Above and Beyond - Alliance, Ohio

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grinder Above and Beyond, located at [Address], Alliance, Ohio. This restaurant has garnered a reputation for its unique menu and exceptional service, so I was excited to see if it lived up to the hype. Here’s a comprehensive review of my experience:

Ambiance and Atmosphere: From the moment I stepped into Grinder Above and Beyond, I was struck by the inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The interior is tastefully decorated, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The use of warm lighting and tasteful artwork creates a welcoming space that feels both upscale and relaxed. The seating arrangements are well thought out, providing both intimate booths and larger tables for groups, all arranged to maintain a sense of privacy and comfort.

Service: The service at Grinder Above and Beyond was exemplary. From the moment we were greeted at the door, it was clear that customer satisfaction was a top priority. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. They were quick to offer recommendations and ensured that our experience was smooth and enjoyable throughout the meal. It’s evident that the staff is well-trained and dedicated to providing a high level of service.

Menu and Food Quality: Grinder Above and Beyond boasts a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes. I opted for the signature grinder, which, as the name suggests, is a specialty of the house. The grinder was prepared to perfection, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a balance of flavors that was both delightful and satisfying. The bread was perfectly toasted, providing a crisp exterior with a soft, flavorful interior. The fillings were generous and well-seasoned, making for a hearty and delicious sandwich.

Additionally, I tried a few other items from the menu, including the house-made fries and a side salad. The fries were golden and crispy, with a seasoned salt that added a nice touch. The salad was fresh and crisp, with a variety of vegetables that were clearly prepared with care.

For dessert, I couldn’t resist sampling the homemade cheesecake. It was rich and creamy, with a buttery graham cracker crust that complemented the smooth filling perfectly. It was a fantastic way to end the meal.

Value for Money: Considering the quality of the food and the level of service, Grinder Above and Beyond offers good value for money. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes and the quality of the ingredients used. There are also several options on the menu that cater to different budgets, making it a versatile choice for various dining occasions.

Cleanliness and Hygiene: The restaurant maintained high standards of cleanliness throughout our visit. The dining area was immaculate, and it was clear that the staff took great care in maintaining a sanitary environment. The restrooms were also clean and well-stocked, which is always a positive aspect.

Parking and Accessibility: Parking at Grinder Above and Beyond was convenient, with a dedicated parking lot that offered ample spaces. The restaurant is easily accessible and well-located in Alliance, making it a practical choice for both locals and visitors. For those with mobility issues, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with suitable parking and entrance options.

Overall Impression: Grinder Above and Beyond in Alliance, Ohio, exceeded my expectations in several ways. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, exceptional service, and high-quality food makes it a standout dining option in the area. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a special dining experience, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Alliance area seeking a memorable...

I've recently moved to Ohio and we decided to try Grinders. Big mistake for me and my hungry tummy. I ordered Potato Skins and a Southern Stack. The Skins were 4 for 10. They had a bit of cheese and a couple bacon pieces. Bland and devoid of flavor except for the, not crip, no garlic, mush. Gross. My Southern Stack was a nightmare. It starts to large to fit in an adult mouth. Because of the completely sliced hoagie roll their is no pocket to hold the ingredients.Every attempt was only met with insane glops of oil congealing around the extraordinary amount of lettuce, thus lubing the hoagie contents on to the plate. There is no taste except oil. When I picked up a piece of turkey and put it in my mouth I couldn't swallow. The taste I assume from marinating in oil was gross. After two bites I pushed the plate away. I will never go back to Grinders in Alliance. I do not recommend anyone else does either. It's over priced chest made and has flat to nasty taste. A huge waste of money except for cheesecake. That was delish and the only reason they got two stars. Completely...

First time visiting this place. We got seated on the bar side of the restaurant. When we 1st sat down, an employee was sittn at the bar chattn w the bartenders and all 3 were super loud & laughing, for about first 15mins of our visit. We were about to request to be moved when she finally left. Ahh all was quiet...😄 I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy & side salad. The salad was very good, and good sized. Had cheese, eggs, croutons... meat loaf was very good. Kids got their baked sghetti w meatballs, he said it was very good-plenty of sauce so it wasnt dry. The garlic bread was pretty dry tho-but most places are. Other got the teriyaki chicken bowl. Very good flavor! He didnt like the vegetables: water chestnuts, wax & green beans, broccoli & carrots...but we ate them because they had very good flavor. Hubs got some chicken grinder- he said it was ok. We def want to go back so I can try the diff bowls they have as well as the fish & mayb the baked sghetti for myself. Our waitress was so nice & on it! She made sure we had everything, didnt forget about us, but...

Yes, I ordered food and came home . Very nice staff. Lots of people. ♿️ restroom . Very good service, but I went back and ordered my food was cold. The waitress heated it up. ♿️ restroom and parking . Lot is in front of the restaurant. It is located by giant eagle state street alliance. People eat and enjoy themselves.ok went back to food, cold waitresses, took forever to bring sugar, and just wow different. Took stars because your mirrors on the wall have so many fingerprints. And not such a friendly waitress.

Ordered carry out, three chicken sandwiches were thrown together and smashed in take out boxes. Asked for toasted buns and they were not toasted and sopping wet. Lettuce was slimy and the tomatoes were all smashed up, sloppiest sandwich ever. One sandwich was supposed to have cheddar cheese and there was no cheese on it. When grinders is good it’s good but this carry out order ruined that.

Getting pretty disappointed. The grinders aren’t cheap but they’ve always been good in the past. This is the second grinder I’ve gotten, the DC three that I’ve gotten for years. It’s smaller, literally no cheese fewer ingredients. Overall the bread is very hard. Just not a good sandwich And yet more expensive. I guess inflation is getting us all.
