Ambiance: 5/5 The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The wooden tables and soft, ambient lighting create a relaxed vibe, perfect for either a casual dinner or a special celebration. The open kitchen adds a unique touch, giving the space a stylish and welcoming feel that enhances the overall experience.
Service: 5/5 The service at PRU Thai Kitchen was truly exceptional. Our servers, Bam and Bus, were not only friendly and welcoming but also highly professional. They were knowledgeable about the menu, made thoughtful recommendations, and ensured we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed or overlooked. Their attentiveness, calm demeanor, and sincere hospitality created a level of service that’s incredibly rare to find these days. In fact, it’s the kind of genuine, thoughtful service that’s almost impossible to come by elsewhere, and it made a lasting impression on us. Even during the busiest moments, the staff handled everything seamlessly, reflecting the restaurant's strong commitment to a high-quality guest experience.
Food: 5/5 The star of the show, of course, is the food. We started with the tom yum soup, which was undoubtedly the best we've ever had. For the main course, I opted for the perfectly cooked sea bass, and my dining companion tried the beef stew puff pastry, which was absolutely delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented, and it was clear that every ingredient was carefully chosen and prepared with care by Chef Ong and his team. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and every bite reflected the creativity and skill behind the menu. Without question, the food here surpasses any other Thai restaurant in the Johns Creek and Alpharetta area—it’s simply on another level. The portions were generous, and we left feeling fully satisfied without being overly stuffed.
Overall Experience: 5/5 PRU Thai Kitchen exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. The food was outstanding—truly the best Thai cuisine around—the service, especially from Bam and Bus, was warm, polished, and genuinely unmatched, and the atmosphere made for a truly memorable dining experience. Thanks to the culinary vision of Executive Chef Ong Sattangmongkol and the gracious hospitality of the staff, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to visit again and again. Whether you're in the mood for a casual dinner or a more intimate evening, PRU Thai Kitchen has something to...

Wow just wow! Unbelievable amazing flavors and the art of their plating is as beautiful as any top tier restaurant. The service is amazing! I had the sweetest server named Bam - clearly she loves to take care of her tables. A gentleman came around and checked on everything. This place will blow up once everyone finds it! It’s brand new opened less than a month ago. I wish them great success.
Located across from Avalon next to Guven Brothers jewelry store (another great spot) you’ll find this lovely space with warm colors and emerald green. Bar seating is available along with a decent sized dining room.
Parking is ample with overflow parking in back of the shopping center.
Let’s get to the food. I can’t wait to return and try a few more dishes. Today is Crispy Catfish Prik Khing and Pad Thai with tofu. This is without question one of the best Thai restaurants in Atlanta and one of the best I’ve tried anywhere including my international travels.
I highly recommend the Pad Thai with your choice of protein and if you have a pescatarian in the house, the Crispy Catfish Prik Khing for the win. Everything is so good I just ordered a Panang Curry dish to go.

Five-Star Review for Pru Thai Kitchen
Pru Thai Kitchen in Alpharetta is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful and welcoming dining atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic and delicious Thai dishes, and everything we tried was outstanding.
We enjoyed the Pad Thai, Green Curry, and a flavorful stir-fried chicken dish—each cooked to perfection with vibrant, fresh ingredients. To top off our wonderful lunch, the chef delighted us with an amazing French toast dessert, paired with ice cream and whipped cream. It was a creative and indulgent treat that left us smiling!
The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Pru Thai Kitchen is currently new and relatively easy to get into, but with such exceptional food and service, I can see it quickly becoming a hotspot where reservations will be a must.
Whether you visit for lunch or dinner, this is the perfect place for a delicious meal in a stunning setting. We can’t wait to return! Highly...
Read moreRestaurants in Alpharetta keep getting better and better. Now I found my favorite Thai cuisine restaurant. I happened upon Pru Thai Kitchen on my coffee run today, having just opened last week. Pru Thai is in the strip across Old Milton from Avalon. Having been to Thailand many times and knowing great Thai food from average American Thai food, tasting the food from Pru took me back to the best restaurants in Thailand. Eating abroad and always wishing that they would open a restaurant just like it in the Georgia, came true. Pru doesn’t mix in Chinese or Sushi or any other cuisine, they focus on Thai food and great authentic flavors with a menu that will have me coming back to try every dish.
Tonight, I started with the Tom Yum soup. Now many places serve Tom Yum soup, but they only have a light lemon type broth. When I ask for the real Tom Yum, which is a creamy reddish soup loaded with flavor, I get the excuse that it takes too long to make. But somehow, Pru Thai serves the authentic Tom Yum, and holy cow, this is a fantastic soup which I could have every day! The texture, the zest, the spice, ahhh, thank you Pru!
Next I had the Pad Kra Pao with beef. This dish burst with the right amount of spice and flavor. The beef was high quality as opposed to chewy beef you get in some places. They let me try the spring rolls. Not your typical spring rolls as these had glass noodles inside and terrific taste.
I ordered take-out but noticed the beautiful décor and will bring the family to dine in next time. Bam, the hostess greeted me with a smile and great rapport that sets the mood for an awesome dining experience.
All in all, an astounding Thai meal you have to...
