Very disappointed with my previous experience here. I used to come here with my friends, however, I will not be coming back after my last visit. In all my previous visits, the staff would imply that ayce would cost the same as separate plates. It was not till this visit that this was finally clarified AFTER the payment. My sister and I had ordered approximately 10 items (plates) together and while finishing up the server came to our table to ask if we did ayce before bringing out the check. Since we have never had a problem previously, we assumed to just say yes because it was never clarified. When I saw the bill, I saw that the cost was around $75 dollars vs a $30 bill. Had it not been for the drastic price increase, I would not have had anything to say. However, when I asked the server about the cost and why it was so much, she told me it was because the ayce option was different. After asking if there was any way to change it, considering we did not order many small plates for two people in comparison to what we could have ordered if we got ayce, I was told that nothing could be changed because of the fact that the hostess had asked us what we were eating at the beginning of the meal. I have never had this problem previously as I did not change anything in what I said to the staff, however, that evening I felt baited into paying a ridiculous price when I just simply wanted to go out to eat with my sister. I was even more confused because if there was nothing to be changed or no way to change anything due to “additional charges”, I am confused as to why the server came to ask us before handing us the check. This situation was very I felt particularly baited. I am utterly disappointed and saddened that 1. No clarification was given by the staff, 2. Nothing was done to even try to fix the situation (Just an “I am sorry” while smiling which also felt very frustrating considering the extreme price difference), and 3. One of my favorite sushi spots will no longer be on my list not because of the food but because of poor management/trained staff. Please clarify to other customers before making them pay fees that they were not...
Read moreMy friends and I visited this restaurant for an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) dinner, expecting the usual seamless experience we’ve had for years. Unfortunately, this visit was deeply disappointing. Upon arrival, the host didn’t ask if we were there for AYCE—they simply seated us without clarification. We assumed everything was normal, as the menu appeared unchanged, and we began ordering via the tablet.
At the end of the meal, we were shocked to receive a bill triple the AYCE price. When I questioned the server, she insisted, “The host confirmed you weren’t here for AYCE,” despite never being asked. After pushing back, she reluctantly adjusted the bill but added, “This isn’t my job. Next time, double-check with your server—I won’t fix it again.” Her condescending tone was unprofessional and unacceptable.
As loyal customers, we’re appalled by the lack of clarity and accountability. Restaurants should confirm dining options upfront, not blame patrons for their oversight. We’re done supporting the business that treats guests with such disrespect. If management cares about their reputation, they’ll reach out to resolve this fairly. Until then, we strongly advise others to verify every detail before dining here—you might end up overcharged and insulted.

Read moreSo I decided to go in for lunch, and was immediately seated at the start of a very long robotic conveyor of sushi $3 a piece. All looks pretty high quality except the crab and "kani" which is a fish flavored mixmeat. A standard sushi roll is a out 9-12 pieces so $12 A single roll isn't a terrible deal, but there are places that are cheaper for sure. Some items on the conveyor are more generous than others of varying quality. A California roll with a fake fish stick and avocado is the same as a tuna filled salmon and roe covered masterpiece. I'd recommend they vary their prices or be more generous with the cheaper stuff.
My ginger and wasabi was brought by a cute cat robot server, and a normal waiter asked me what drink i wanted. I ordered seaweed salad and rice on the pad for another 6 between the two items and it arrived on a little train on top. Ordered check from ipad. There are many other items that can be ordered on the iPad, or with a server directly if you request help.
All of it was tasty, and it was a nice experience.
I would recommend if you're a bigger person like myself to order filler items to curb your appetite and carefully examine what...
