Every single time I try to give this location another chance months after a bad experience (since 2017), I'm reminded why I should not even waste my time or money. I've been to at least 5 different locations across two states and this is the only one I ever have trouble with. I ordered from here 3 days in the past week. The first day, it was a curbside order but the app didn't show notification options for curbside so no one brought my food out. I went in and they couldn't even locate where they had stored my order for about 3 minutes. The 2nd day, they just didn't care to check if I was here. Both days, I was parked right in front of the door. While on business calls, I had to go inside which defeats the purpose of the curbside option. I let both days slide but the 3rd time that week was the last straw for me. I had a day full of meetings and needed food delivered to my office. When I received my order, the delivery guy was nice; however, neither the drink nor the bag had been secured by Tropical Smoothie. The drink was leaking and the lid could have easily come off or the contents been tampered with due to no security of the lid (every other place I order delivery from uses tamper-evident tape). To make matters worse, my caesar wrap was neither warm, toasted, wrapped nor cut, and the ingredients had just been slapped inside. I was disgusted! I immediately called the location and spoke to a guy named Bert, before he put his manager on the phone. She refused to give her name and he wouldn't give her name either. I asked her why the order wasn't secured. She stated clearly that "we DO have the tape to secure the lid and straw opening and close the bag but we just don't use it." I asked her why she isn't using what the company has provided them and instructed them to use and she stated that they "just don't" before the she put the phone down and walked away. The Bert guy came back to the line and said she walked away to help a customer, he refused to give her name. This was beyond disrespectful. I demanded a refund immediately and Bert said he was processing it. I have yet to receive my refund but I am putting this review (with pics) on every site as well as locating the contact info for the general manager and the owner. I am DONE with this immature, careless, lazy and unprofessional location. Read moreI went into this location today. I have been going here for years. The owner is great and the employees are generally pleasant. They have a male manager who I have recently encountered. He was not previously rude but his demeanor is more standoffish (not what you’d expect from a manager in a customer service job). Today, I ordered the mocha Maddness as I’ve been doing for years. Each time he makes my smoothie, he does not put a full scoops of product. This smoothie is all powder so if it is short, it has no taste. Today I asked him to put a little more dark chocolate because he was short. He argued with me and hesitantly did put more in. I then asked him if in the future he could bring the container down to the counter in the future to ensure full scoops are put in. I made this request since he made it seem like I was asking for extra but I’m simply asking for the amount the recipe calls for. He told me “no, I’m not doing all that.” It went downhill from there. He went on and on about how he’s worked here for 8 years and He’s the best smoothie maker. He also went as far to tell me that he doesn’t need my business and he told me not to come back. He accused me of harassing which I have never done to him or any other employee, even in this situation. In fact, I know I like my smoothie done a certain way/correctly so I actually ensure I’m as pleasant as possible.This behavior was completely unacceptable and I cannot believe a manager would act this way. Read moreI bought a smoothie from a TSC in a different location 5 minutes from here but it was disgusting. I could not go back through traffic because I had an appointment to get to so I stopped here and asked them if they could change it for me. The said no, it's a different location with a different owner and I'll have to go back to the store I got it from... But it's still the same company right? If I go to any other fast food or dine in restaurant they would honor the transaction for the sake of keeping customers happy. But this place apparently doesn't care that when one location looks bad they all look bad. I guess they make enough money to turn people away. And I was going to order food to go with the smoothie but the other location couldn't figure out how to price their meals so I would have ordered at this location if they had been any kind of help.
