It took nearly 30 minutes to service an order of PLAIN Uttapam and Chicken Dum Biryani. The lady who took the order asked me if I wanted Onion Uttapam to which I replied, "not onion, PLAIN Uttapam." I was tired at the end of day of travelling which started at 6 am and it was 5 pm with no lunch. So I came home and opened the box to find an ONION UTTAPAM WHICH WAS BURNT BLACK. I scraped the burnt portion before I took the pictures. Part 2. Two batata wadas. Onions and spicy like there's no tomorrow. Enough. No more food from these folks. I wonder what's in store for me in the Biryani. It sure is ominous because she asked me spice level.. How can spice level be adjusted in a real DUM biryani??

Judging by other reviews, it's abundantly clear that I am no expert on Indian food! I thought what i had from the hot food case was delicious. I tried the onion samosas and really liked them. I also tried a savory "donut" looking thing with some type of tahini based dipping sauce. Excellent! Sorry, but i can't tell you for certain what it's called. I felt like I was annoying the young lady serving me after I asked her to repeat the name 3 times. I googled it, and I think it's called Medu Vada. I'll be going back.

the only thing worth buying from here is Samosa - bought a few times and found it good. Picked up Natukodi Chicken Biryani - it was pathetic. Dry and extremely chewy pieces of bone with barely any meat. I had to simply trash it. Gulab Jamun was stale and tasted sour. See attached video, never seen a sugar syrup like this.
