Valor Coffee — Restaurant in Alpharetta

10 out of 5 stars! These guys are absolutely incredible. All around, Valor is a company of some awesome local artisans who are mastering and creating their own experience of "fika" (the Swedish art of a coffee break). They are mastering the creation of delicious syrups (not the obnoxiously sweet Starbucks kind, and they're unique), roasting their own beans, that are FANTASTIC. The coffee is outstanding, and I have even branched out to try their matcha latte and chai latte,and I have yet to have something I don't like. Also even in the small details that add to the whole experience, they have the best branding I have ever seen, and a great vibe to their space. They have absolutely mastered customer service, whenever my husband and I have been there we are greeted like we've known these guys our entire lives, and they greet each person that walks through their door in this way. Once they reach the counter, these guys will interact with you like A. they love their work and enjoy being there and B. like they've seen you and know you, which how does that not make you feel good?

My favorite thing of all, which has led me to writing this review, is when I called them with a ridiculously far fetch of an idea that would be rare for a place like this to commit to. I called requesting they deliver (right down the street) a cappuccino (my husband's favorite thing to get at Valor) to my husband at work for an early Valentine's day surprise, the equivalent to delivering flowers to your lady, and they didn't even hesitate to commit to it! They were so willing to jump on board and make my man feel special. They even asked if I wanted to write anything on the cup!?!?! Which they did and it made him feel so special, THANK YOU AGAIN!

They just go above and beyond in all they do, artisans of all things coffee and masters of customer service. All I'm saying is, if you haven't been to Valor, stop what you're doing, or if you're googling "cool coffee shops" or "hip places", search no more, just GO! It will absolutely be worth it and you will walk away caffeinated, obviously, and feeling like a million bucks after spending a moment with them, you will go back, I...

Valor Coffee's marketing is excellent. They use solid colors on their products which helps make them pop.

When you walk inside, you see a busy but calm environment. They have their standard menu listed above & provide a tablet with a breakdown on which bean & origin they're using.

As a first timer & due to the line, I knew I had to decide on something quick to not hold everyone up. I went with a standard iced latte but asked the staff which syrup they recommended. I ended up trying the seasonal syrup which was orange based. Unfortunately, I do not remember the exact name but it surprisingly worked very well with my latte. It provided a bright & refreshing flavor which wasn't too sweet.

They have coffee equipment available to purchase along with their own origins of different beans.

The staff were kind & professional. They were working extremely efficient based on the long line of orders. The cherry on top of the entire experience was that since it was my first time, they gave my spouse & I a free sticker stating we were first timers.

Valor Coffee sets a very high bar in the competitive specialty coffee industry with what they have chosen to roast and continually offer in my opinion. I have had the pleasure of knowing the owners before they had an actual storefront; now they are expanding to their second store within the upcoming year.

Being able to see what they have done to obtain their goals for the mission of the company and how they have implemented that into their staff, especially from their coffee cart to the rebrand, has been very cool to see! They are always working on something to further their growth and they execute it well.

Valor has a great staff and they're quite knowledgeable about their coffee. They are always willing to accommodate the customer needs and or offer ideas to help meet those needs. It is a great little spot in downtown Alpharetta. I highly recommend their coffee whether it's a single origin or a blend as I have had many of their offerings and it has always been very good! They are very consistent in how they roast.
