McDonald's — Restaurant in Alton

I always go to McDonald's, at least 1x per day,if not every other day. And I always order the same thing through the app so I can get $1 Large caramel frappe. And I always pay extra for 2x caramel drizzle. I NEVER GET THE EXTRA DRIZZLE HERE. I pay for it via mobile order, and I go through the drive thru, get the frappe and there's literally just barely any drizzle on top. And I look at them and I say sorry but I paid for the extra drizzle 2 times, it's supposed to have extra extra drizzle (not to mention that McDonald's was my first job, I know how to make a frappe, you're supposed to put a little bit of drizzle on the bottom, a little drizzle on the insides of the cup, pour the frappe mix in, then whipped cream and drizzle on top) when I get the frappe from here every time even if I pay extra for the extra drizzle I get my frappe and there's just barely a drizzle on top of the whipped cream barely both times I've been here I refuse to go back to this McDonald's because of this when I asked him about it they say well this is what you paid for and they've literally shut the window in my face. I don't ever write bad reviews ever, unless the place deserves it - and this place definitely deserves it!! I will go to any other McDonald's except for this one they refuse to fix anything even when I show a receipt stating that I have paid for the extra drizzle and this happened to me not once but twice cuz I'm stupid and too nice of a person and tried to give them an extra chance and it was a completely different shift and it happened to me again, so I refuse to go back here. If anybody orders the frappe - get it from a different McDonald's - or don't pay extra for anything cuz you're not going...

My grandmother was craving a burger, so I offered to buy us all lunch. We ordered the cheeseburger and 20 nuggets bundle for my son and niece, and the 2a and 2c quarter pounder meals for grandma and I. Fries were great. Regular cheeseburgers and nuggets were fine. Both quarter pounders were raw...like disgustingly raw. They were basically browned on both sides and tossed on a bun. My grandmother can't see very well right now due to glaucoma and a burst blood vessel in her right eye causing temporary blindness in that eye, so when I noticed my burger was raw in the middle, I immediately told her to show me hers. It was even more raw than mine. I called the restaurant and told them and a nice girl named Katie apologized and asked if I could bring the burgers back. While certainly an inconvenience, I sure wasn't gonna eat it the way it was, so I agreed to bring the burgers back for replacement. The girl in the drive-thru was nice and said she'd go get a manager. The manager didn't even speak to me at all. No apology, not even a word. Then the girl took my burgers that Katie had asked me to bring back and said she'd toss them for me. I didn't expect a red carpet roll out, but management certainly needs to speak with customers when there's issues like this. It's not only disgusting, but raw hamburger can cause serious illness. To not even get an apology from the manager just adds insult to injury. They did replace the burgers and give me a new order of fries since I would be going back...

I went in for lunch on my break and made my order and waited. Guy comes in after me and after 5 minutes he starts complaining and I told him to be patient and quiet or they’ll mess with your food. 10 minutes go by then 15. They’re pumping orders out the drive thru though. Door dashers come and go. Finally the complaining guy gets his food. All I had was a chicken sandwich meal?? After 20 minutes I literally have to get back to work so I ask for a refund. They act offended and mad. The heavier manager gave me my refund rudely and when my food finally came up as she was giving me my money she rudely says he doesn’t want it anymore. Yes I do but not now. So being old I call the manager and while I was talking to her another woman in the background yells he’s got his money what else does he want??? So I apologized for bothering them and promised I wouldn’t again. They later called offering me food but I declined you guys are mean and I don’t want none of your mean food.
