If I could give no stars I would. I have been to many Hispanic restaurants and have never been treated as poorly as I was at this establishment. I walked in during my lunch break and upon walking in the door with my usual smile I was not greeted as I looked around for a sign that would tell me wait to be seated. I stood in the entry for about 3 minutes before I took it upon myself to just find a table. I sat against the back wall and waited for service. Still without a greeting. After I sat about 3 more minutes finally was approached by a young man asking me what I wanted to drink. I ordered a sprite yet still no greeting to speak of. My drink is brought to my table shortly after chips and salsa. I waited again for someone to serve me. By now almost 20 minutes has passed. A different young man approached this time no greeting no smile and takes my order. I ordered the Hawaiian burrito. I patiently waited. I see a young woman approaching my direction with two plates in hand. Naturally I assumed it was my food until she bypassed my table and served the gentleman at the next table who might I add came in after me. She then turned and looked at me walked over then placed my food down and walked away. By this time I was starting to feel unwanted in this establishment. I cut into my food only to find out My Hawaiian burrito was ill prepared. No pineapple as stated in the menu and it was very unattractive to say the least. I requested a box after 2 bites and proceeded to the front to pay my bill. I handed the person at the front my money with still a substantial tip because I believe in tipping well coming from New York. I said nothing more and walked out the door. By this time that smile I normally have was gone. Sad to say I will never be visiting this establishment again after such poor treatment and service. Imagine feeling you are truly not welcomed in an establishment from your first experience. Shame...
Read moreI have never had worse customer service in my life when it came to making our to go order right she told me I was wrong and that was not our order there was nothing she could do with a thirty two dollar carry out that usually cost twenty to dine in so just wonder what I'm being charged for we used to come in here two to three times a week Joseph loves it but I will not be treated like that as a repeat regular customer we definitely will not be coming in again and I will be sending anyone who asks me to poncho's in Eastgate they are wonderful! And won't treat you like yeah! Then we went back and the lady who took our order continued to argue with me and call me names in Spanish as she walked orders to other tables then I told her I would never treat guest like this as a manager myself and she told me congratulations I have never been treated so badly by anyone in customer service my advice would be to fire her but that's just me but from now on we will not be having our Mexican food from this establishment even though they have us a gift card you can't fix being offended like that I have never been called the c word even in Spanish we will not...
Read moreMy significant other and I go here on date night quite often, and the food and drinks are always good. That said, as we were paying/leaving last night, our waitress mentioned my boots and said she liked them. I thanked her, and as she walked away, she muttered “puta.” Frankly, I am not at all fluent in Spanish, but I at the least have the knowledge of what that word means. I was pretty shocked, so I didn’t say anything at the time (nor did I take away our tip, which we had already left) but I don’t think we’ll be back. I understand that a skirt and high heeled boots in December may not be everyone’s taste, but I was also wearing a giant cardigan, and she could’ve just said nothing. We went here pretty often and this is my first...
