Black Silo Coffee Roasting Co. — Restaurant in Altoona

I never really liked coffee. The only kind I could handle was a little bit of coffee in hot chocolate. Basically a mocha but less coffee. My fiancé on the other hand is a huge coffee lover. He picked up a few bags of Black Silo Coffee at Porchlight one day and when I made him coffee the smell was so intoxicating.

I tried some and it was delicious. I am now a coffee drinker. I thought maybe my taste buds have changed but I have tried many brands since and this is the only one I like. The Rio Dolce and the Morning Glory are my favorites. They are so incredibly smooth and tasty. I'll continue to try other brands but honestly I don't think anything will compare to Black Silo.

I have purchased Black Silo coffee many times directly from them, at grocery stores and also at two restaurants that serve the coffee. I aways use creamer, but not with Smooth Bourbon (my favorite). I love every type of coffee I have ever bought from them and that it doesn't have that bitter taste that some other brand have. I also love that it is a local business!
