On February 1st 2025 I called and put an order in for 150 tacos and 2 9by13 pans of rice for March 15 2025 it was for a baby shower/ 2 year old birthday party ….. I called them at 10am the morning of the party to verify my order would be ready by 1 pm for pick up they told me yes they told me the price witch was 470$$.. well a little later around 12:50 my mother in law went up there to pay and pick up the tacos well they told her I’m sorry we don’t have a order like that for today 😑🤔 I’m confused at this point my mother in law calls me and tells me they ended up telling her it would be a 30 ish min wait well I was ok that’s still like wild because I just got off the phone with them at 10am but ok cool… well we get the tacos and they are so dry the meat is just fat it’s not good the rice was hard and dry it just wasn’t how they usually make there food so I’m pretty upset I just paid 470 dollars for nasty NASTY food !!! I called th later that’s day and tell them about it and I talked to one of the managers which was a male he told me he would call the owner and call me back Monday the 17th … I never got a call so I called them on the 17th no answer at all so at this point I’m just I don’t know what to do so I waited and waited for them to call me back well it’s been a week now I called them this Monday aka (today) the 24th 2025 and I talked to another manager and he is just rude with me then says there isn’t anything he can do I ask how do I get into contact with the owner or higher up because something needs to happens I didn’t just pay yall 470 for some nasty food and I called yall about it and he doesn’t say anything to me other than sorry .. sorry sorry over and over again...

October 2024 Update- Still have issues with them basically always forgetting limes and salsas. The last order was potato and egg tacos, and the potato wasn't even half cooked. I dont eat here anymore. What's going on in Taco City? We need yall to get it together. When they run properly, they have good food. But people want and need their condiments, and it would be nice if the food was actually cooked.

It's a love-hate relationship here. I love their food, but I swear, EVERY TIME I go, I ask for limes, and I can bet money that they will forget it. It's extremely annoying because I come very often and I need limes- even offered to pay for them if necessary. Without fail, they forget it EVERY time. It's super annoying to go park and get out for some limes. The prices used to be great, but due to COVID, a 5$ burrito is now $8. I accept inflation but the poor customer service, and they have lost a customer. If you are reading this, please train your employees to double-check orders and include all salsas/limes asked for! Also, whenever I pull around to allow the next car to order while I wait for my food, the employees will wait for both my food and whoever is behind me to be ready before bringing my order out 🥺. Unfortunately, they do this every time. I don't want to wait for someone else's food to be ready before I get my order. They have lost a good customer as we eat out all the time, and my husband eats tacos at least 7 times a week. We will...

UPDATED REVIEW: Sept. 2021- I’m so sad to say that the quality here in the short time since my original review has gone down tremendously. Twice I’ve ordered a large quantity of breakfast tacos for my office. Mind you, I drove way out of my way just to support this establishment. The first time the tacos were just ok. The second time (this past weekend), I was so embarrassed by the quality of food that I presented to my coworkers as a way to thank them for volunteering community service. The eggs were rubbery and far over cooked. They tasted as if they were cooked the day before and warmed in the microwave. No amount of sauce made these edible. I’m sad to say that I threw most of them away. I won’t be returning since I know of half a dozen other tacos places with far better quality.

Jan. 2021- I’m in Alvin every Saturday with my daughter and we like to try new places to eat. We were recommended this place by a friend who is a local. We had a great experience! We pulled in, saw the sign about their menu being online so we busted out our phones to figure out what we wanted and got in the drive thru line when ready. The employees were very helpful making our decisions and gave us plenty of their own recommendations. The staff was very friendly and the price was fantastic! The flavors were SO good and mouth watering! Green salsa was on point! I highly recommend this place if you want some delicious, fresh tacos.

Must order the beef...

I came across this location as a suggestion from a family member, looked it up and was not impressed by the photo on google maps. Be rest assured people of the Internet - they remodeled it and looks great. Now that the building visuals are out of the way. What's the MOST important part of Mexican cuisine? The salsa, it I love my green salsa to have just the right amount of kick. Great food for a good price, and the food goes down well with a classic Coca Cola bottle. If you're in the Alvin area and looking for a quick bite of food - this is your place!

UPDATE-01/26/21: looks like the employees stole my credit card and charged it twice at EL AHORRO SUPERMARKET. So my bank is going to pursue police charges with the Alvin police Department. Boy you got a love when they charge you two dollars more than their menu says online or at the store. I’m not sure what kind of BS these people are trying to pull but you can’t post one price and then charge someone’s credit card for a different amount and not tell them.l guess I’ll dispute the charges.

We were pleasantly surprised with good food and kind service. There is a small area inside where you can eat and a nice outside deck. The food was reasonably priced and pretty good. There's no way that you can compare these tacos to some of the other restaurants because these are more authentic and taste homemade. Both of our meals were good. I can tell that the employees here are really trying to do their best. Best of luck to them.
