I recently had the pleasure of dining at Osaka Hibachi and Sushi, and I must say that it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. First time eating here being that it’s new. The food was amazingly fresh and warm compared to where I normally eat my Shaggy Dog room temperature. So much more flavor warm! Our spicy edamame was made with fresh garlic and not the can stuff, so much more flavor too. My wife had Katsu Pork, it was delicious too just wouldn’t recommend to them to put the lid on the bowl cause it softened up the breading on the fried pork. Now on the service, it was extremely slow, we had to stop the waiter to get us our drinks and refills. They obviously under estimated how great this business would be in Alvin. My shaggy dog took about 20 mins to get, got it before my appetizer, then my wife’s meal came out about 15 mins after mine. Being that they are new and the food was wonderful I will definitely be back and hopefully they work out the service because I would of given them a 5 star rating.

Ok, ate here again on 11/9/22, I had a totally different experience. The food was still amazing and had excellent service this time. I ordered the hibachi shrimp on the lunch menu and it was too much for me to eat. Everything was fresh. My wife ordered a Mento Japanese Lunch Box, which had a variety of entree’s, she loved it. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone! 5 star...

I ordered takeout for myself and my parents so we cannot speak towards the atmosphere of the place. However after this experience, we will definitely be coming in for a sit-down meal.

I had a spicy salmon roll, a shaggy dog roll and a dragon roll. My dad had salmon, yellowtail, tuna and scallop sashimi. My mom had the chicken fried rice.

All of it was fantastic and at a comparable price to Masa, Ohayo and other japanese restaurants outside of our area. They even threw in a Volcano Roll on the house and it is one I will definitely order in the future. Absolutely delicious and more than what you would expect from an Alvin Japanese restaurant.

I ordered through their website (qmenu based) which was an easy process and the staff was incredibly friendly upon my arrival. They even offered me a beverage while I waited for my order to be completed.

10/10 definitely recommend. Osaka satisfies the sushi craving with a convenient location and comparable price. If you have read mixed reviews, I always say try it out for yourself and make your own decisions. I think this place is fantastic and exactly what Alvin has been needing.
