Fun Noodle Bar Amarillo — Restaurant in Amarillo

Came here today about 5 with my cousin. Was waiting on her to arrive. Was waiting in the seating area after stating I was waiting. Was approached again a minute later by a guy in a blue shirt asking to seat while I wait. I said no I was fine but then another guy told me to go sit down so I could. Wait I said never mind I apologize I will go wait outside. Felt really rushed and had to repeat my self. Cousin arrived and was seated, was rushed through the menu, ordered the beef steamed dumplings, dragon roll, spicy tuna roll and the black garlic ramen. Sushi was good, rice was hard and the fish wasn’t fresh, tasted frozen. Dumplings where good just under seasoned, black garlic ramen overall had great flavor, wish for the $15 was adddd more noodles and meat. Overall great food for fast noodles and sushi. Whent to pay and paided for are food. Server noticed I was carrying a lot of cash so he decided to stand directly next to our table after plates where cleared and we paided out while we talked. Kept on saying tip tip tip. I didn’t understand so I asked what and he got close to my ear and kept saying tip tip tip like he was demanded I must pay him a tip and felt very uncomfortable, werid and felt like I was going to get chased out and robbed. Yes to clarify I was going to leave a tip and as most people do leave it on there table as we leave but he kept demanding I leave a tip. So for that I will not be going to the amarillo location. I would have made this my new place for sushi and noodles but for the rushed and factor he was demanding for me to tip him and making us fell uncomfortable and may get robbed. This is why I...

Um, well. ⭐⭐⭐ 1/2. I wasn't in the right mood or mind to try something or somewhere new tonight. So I was unprepared for a new experience. As soon as you walk in it is impressive. Nice interior and decor and welcomed immediately. And then that's where it starts downhill. We were seated and then kind of rushed to order. So I ordered some dumplings I've never had before. The daughter ordered Pad Thai. And well then about 4 minutes later 5 minutes maybe our server comes out again carrying her plate of food. I was like that's kind of odd to bring one person's food out and not the others at the same time. And then he began to explain how a part of the kitchen closed or was closed. That's when we found out they closed in 10 mins. Could have been a language barrier but it definitely was a miscommunication. We were under the impression what I ordered was not available because the kitchen was closed so I just picked pad Thai also. Still thinking why bring one person's food out when you don't have the other person food even available. Only to have him come back out 10 minutes later carrying what I originally orded. We explained to him that he had told us kitchen closed. So shorten this up we ended up with a extra dish, not wanted really and still paid for it... Food well was par for the cuisine, was good/ok. My wife ordered water with lime and when they arrived, she had no lime. The glass was cracked and leaking onto the table. She repeated her order two times, and the waiter still delivered the wrong food. She ordered a sweet potato roll and they brought out the shrimp tempura roll. She even pointed to it on the menu twice when ordering. When I asked if the sesame chicken only came with meat and rice the waiter said yes but failed to mention that broccoli was also included on the plate. We waited for several minutes before even being attended to, and our server only came back to our table after several minutes when I was finished eating and my wife didn't even touch her food. He never came over to check on us during the time we were in there at all. I don't know if anyone was in charge that we could have spoken to because everyone just seemed to be standing around not doing anything, so I couldn't even say we shouldn't have to pay for my wife's food since it was the wrong order to begin with and she didn't even eat anything on the plate. Their service standards were in poor quality if you ask me. We may go back there eventually and try again, but their standards need to improve drastically. The server didn't even ask us if everything was correct when he delivered our food.
