Brush With Art — Attraction in Amarillo

The place is a scam ..run!! I went to try it out, i went the last 30 minutes before they closed but it was to late to paint at the place according to the staff. They instead offer me to take a kit home to do the art at home. They sold me some acrylic paint and the pieces i was going to paint on. At no point did i get a do or dont instructions by paper or told in person. So that night when i was doing the art piece i decided to go to walmart to get more paint because i want it more colors. The next day i took the art already done and what did they tell me? That i cant turn my pieces in because i used acrylic paint that they didnt supply because according to the lady if you paint with any other paint other than the once they suppy it will just burn. Then on top of the insult she tells dont worry let me sale you another kit 50% off. Like if i was in the wrong. Why would i pay more for something they are at fault for? Oh and they do it with such a smile that its mest up. Just go some where...

This woman is amazing. When my mom became terminally ill she was lost. She didn't know what to do, but she always had painted. She helped us with pieces my mom could paint and it honestly extended my mom's life longer than we can know. It kept her smiling and gave her a purpose. I just wanted you to know how thankful I am to you. She passed several months ago, but wanted you to know it was the highlight of her week to pick up pieces at your store. The owner is super sweet and understanding to little kids. We brought our niece and nephew in there and it was a great experience. As little kids do they got bored fast but the owner got out coloring books and crayons to keep them entertained. I also loved the Christian music playing in the background. As for the rest of us it was fun getting to pick out pieces to paint and take the time to paint them together. I can’t wait to see how they turn out! The other worker was sweet as well.
