Texas Tea - Wolflin — Restaurant in Amarillo

HORRIBLE manager. Super disrespectful. I’m a regular here at this location and I always get my drink made a certain way and I never ever have an issue. But today was the first time I’ve encountered horrible customer service from the manager herself who btw refused to give me her name. When I asked for my drink she said she couldn’t make it that way and when I politely asked why she told me to go to a different location and didn’t have time for my “attitude” I wasn’t trying to give her a hard time or an attitude. I just wanted to know for future reference. Maybe the way I was requesting my tea was against their policy and I genuinely wanted to know. I did go to a different location and they were able to make my drink exactly how I asked with no problem and no condescending attitude. I did ask the manager at that location about my order and they said it was completely fine and not against policy and that other locations should have no problems making it that way. In my opinion I think the manager here at s Georgia st was having a bad day and let it out on me.

UPDATE: they’ve responded to my review and I can’t reply but essentially they encouraged me to share this to their Customer Experience Team. Guess what? I did do that! In fact that was the first thing I did before leaving this review. They only gave me a coupon and when I went to redeem the coupon I had the EXACT same issue with the same manager! What kind of establishment makes iced chai tea and doesn't include cinnamon on top like every other place like Starbucks, coffee bean and tea, etc. And usually, I have no problem with that here at Texas tea I just say "hey can you please throw some cinnamon on top?" And they always say yes. It's cinnamon, it costs next to nothing. And this time I got hit with the rudest manager I've ever talked to and she not only said no but that gave me an attitude about going some where else to get my iced chai tea bc they're not supposed to give us cinnamon with it. Like bro, I can get a coffee at a gas station and cinnamon is right next to the sugar and creamers. It shouldn't be this big of a deal!!! It's like getting mad in a restaurant bc a customer request some salt for taste! Or ketchup! Cinnamon should be a given! If you don't include it in the drink at least provide it free of charge if requested! Super...

I’m writing this review hoping someone will see it and make a change. We LOVE walking over during work hours and getting iced coffees for our staff. Their coffee is SO good! 3 times now, I have asked for oat milk in my cold brew (milk makes me so sick), and they aren’t careful and give me dairy. I don’t notice until I’m half way through my coffee and get really sick. They don’t mark the cups or anything and when it’s busy, it’s very easy for them to mess up. I know I’m the minority not able to have dairy, but I do wish they were more organized in this way for people with severe allergies. I love their coffee and order it often, so I wish I could trust my drink every time. Now I’m just scared to order it again. Please have a sticker system!
