Okay, so how this place got best pizza in town I will never know. First of all, pizzas are not cooked in a BRICK OVEN. For someone who grew up in Italy and had the actual BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD, you will not trick me into thinking this is brick oven cooked. Brick oven cooked includes bricks and actual wood, it gives the pizza and entirely different taste than all others. This is borderline false advertising for anyone who knows the difference. Secondly, the ingredients. What to say about these ingredients. Nothing special at all. I have had much fresher and better ingredients elsewhere. I am a Pharisee when it comes to pizza, and I am not sorry for that. I search long and hard for a Nepoletana pizzas everywhere I go. This is absolutely nothing like it. Everything is wrong. If you want a good, actual brock oven pizza, go to Dallas to Cavallis or even Dough is good. As far as being the best in town, for the price, it is nothing to brag about at all. If you eat here, you feel horrible about how much you just paid and you will wonder why you waited so long for it. This is at best a drive thru pizza you buy as a filler when you have young kids that you don't want to feed the good stuff to....
Read moreCute pizzeria and bar. We dined in on a weekday at 230pm. They were not busy at all. We were excited for gluten free and vegan cheese options.
The waitress took my order for a sausage/red pepper pizza on GF cauliflower crust. The pizza that came out was not on GF crust. She apologized and went to have it remade, then came back and said, "By the way, our sausage is not gluten free."
I had to find something else and reorder. It took an additional 25-30 minutes (as to be expected with wood fired pizza). The pizza came out loaded with toppings (great!) but because they rushed it out to me, the crust was sadly soggy. I ate it anyway because my family was waiting on me.
I was a little disappointed when we got the check and the full charge for my pizza was on the bill, not really anything to try to make up for the mistake and the additional time we spent waiting. I guess times are tough.
I was going to give 3 stars, but they made up for it by offering dairy free cheese and my dairy allergy son was able to enjoy pizza with the rest of us. That's a rare gem.
They also have a gluten free flourless chocolate cake on the menu that is to die for. So, needless to say, I'd...
Read moreI’ll start off by saying the food was awesome. This is a very great place to order your pizza and take it home. Definitely not good for a dine in experience. My wife and I went here the other day for the first time to dine in, and it had to be one of the worst experiences. Our server was sitting on the table right next to us, aiming his junk towards my wife’s face with his booty shorts on, brought us the wrong drinks, checked on us maybe 2 times and then when I tried to pay him for the 3rd time he said he would be back for my card that had been sitting there for almost 10 minutes since he had said it the last time. The restaurant was fairly empty when we were seated, and then they sat a party of 5-6 at the 4 people table next to us. The old man sitting next to my wife kept rubbing his butt against our table and almost knocked our pizza to the floor. I definitely won’t be eating somewhere the employees show off their hairy thighs and put their nasty bottoms on tables, or where my wife and I have to deal with strangers butts in our food. I will stick to the other location and drive the extra time to just...
