PhoKing — Restaurant in Amarillo

Wanted some Pho so we came to Pho King. The restaurant opened recently. Inside was newly remodeled and felt nice and clean and updated.

We ordered steamed gyoza to start. It was soft and tasted great as well as the sauce.

My wife ordered the Pho and commented how fresh everything tasted. The broth had a great flavor and all the different types of meat were all tender and cooked perfectly.

I ordered the combination Woonsen Stir Fry noodles. It came to the table very hot. The glass noodles had a fantastic texture that I haven't had in a long time. The meat and vegetables all tasted fresh, were seasoned well and cooked to perfection.

The service was also top notch!

We were seriously impressed! We started with the summer rolls—super fresh, light, and packed with flavor. We also ordered the beef pho and tom kha, and wow... every bite was amazing. Not a single dish disappointed! April was our wonderful server, and she was so kind!

Probably the best bowl of pho I have had in Amarillo. I spent several years living in the Bay Area where they have a ton of great pho spots and this was up there with the best of them. I ordered a beef pho and it was awesome, my only critique would be that I wish they had tripe and/or tendon on the menu although there may not be as much of a demand for it here...
