Well, I had a nice thorough review all typed up and hit the wrong button. I saw the words draft saved but now I can't find it so I guess I have to start all over. I've been here half a dozen times and find it to be mediocre at best. Their main draw for me is that they have Fanta Red soda which I love even though I try not to drink it too often and I only know of two places in town so far that carry Red soda, here and the North Heights discount Cafe. I came in for breakfast a couple of times try their migas but they were a big disappointment. They don't even to seem to have any chips in the mixture which is part of what makes Migas unique. The enchiladas were okay but nothing to brag about. I came in on a Taco Tuesday to try their tacos but they were about the same quality as Taco Bell. Their chips are a big disappointment. I've had tortilla chips in bags from the grocery store that tasted better. Definitely not anything homemade. I would say there is nothing authentic about this restaurant and its food. There are so many better Mexican places in town where the food tastes wonderful. My biggest disappointment was when I went in yesterday. I had a craving for red pop and as long as I was there I decided to get a nice cheap taco salad. It was adequate but no more than that. But the worst thing was that when I went to find a table every single Booth had a dirty table and here we are in the middle of a pandemic in mid-august of 2020! I kept going from one to the other hoping to find a clean table. I finally sat down at one that I thought might be clean but there were crumbs on the seat, the table was sticky and there were rings on the table from for drinks that had been sitting. When I rubbed them with a clean napkin they came right off so obviously they hadn't been cleaned. I gave up and sat there but if I come down with a coronavirus virus it's going to be their fault. This is at least the second time that I waited and waited for my number to be called and never did hear it. If I hadn't gotten up to go find the bathroom I wouldn't have seen my food sitting on the back counter waiting for me to pick it up. I was in there for at least half an hour and the entire time I was there I never once saw anyone come out to clean the tables even though there were hardly any customers in the place so it's not like they were too busy. Finally a lady came out and gave some of the tables of quick swipe and had someone remove the dishes but she didn't spray anything on the table that I saw and all she gave them was a cursory swipe, not the kind of scrub down you would expect considering there could have been Covid germs on the surfaces. They didn't make any effort to wipe down the salt and pepper shakers or the seats either. She skipped one table completely. I'm sure her eyes are better than mine are and if I could see the fact that it was not clean she should have been able to but of course she glanced at it from across the room. It was really disgraceful when you think about all the people eating on those tables and maybe sitting down at a table that hadn't been cleaned and they didn't know it. I guess they don't care if their customers get sick and die. I won't be back unless it's just to get a Fanta Red soda to go and maybe try one of those good looking desserts I saw sitting on the counter. I've never tried one but they...

Let me first say, I have been coming to this location frequently for breakfast through the drive thru for years and have never had an issue until now. In fact, I preferred this location over Soncy for the quality of the migas tacos. I work nights 12 hour shifts and showed up at 6:45 am 10/31/2021 after work to order 4 tacos tired and hungry. The first thing I was told when I got to the drive thru was they were behind. I asked how long the wait would be and was told they would be ready at 7, and I could go to the other location. I said “that’s fine, I’ll wait.” By this time it was 6:48 and I said “that’s 10 min from now.” The cashier argued with me and said “no that’s 15 min.” Really?? Then she told me I could come back at 7 so I waited in the parking lot and 10 min later I came back to the intercom and asked if they were ready. She said I could place my order, but they were still behind. I asked how long and this time was told 10 or 20 min. Again, I said I would wait. Now there were cars behind me. She told me to stay at the intercom. 5 min later she asked for my order AGAIN and told me to pull up. When she took my credit card to pay she did not say a word. When I saw my receipt my order was wrong. I told her and she said they didn’t have what I ordered which was migas tacos and egg, potato, and bacon tacos. She said the migas tacos would take 1 hr and a half and they were also out of bacon. She refunded me and gave me a gift card for $15. But by this time I had been waiting for 30 min and they had been open for 45 min at this point. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced! If I would have just been told from the beginning they would not be able to take my order I could have gone to the Soncy location which is what I ended up doing. They made me feel like I was a bother to them for wanting to place an order while they were open! I will not be going back to this location anytime soon, that’s for sure! Very poor...

Went to Rosa’s on a Friday, New Years Eve, at lunchtime to eat while driving through Amarillo. We got there around 12pm and did not have a wait to order. This was my first time to eat here, and I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. When you get there you order off a menu board similar to ordering at any fast food restaurant, which did scale my overall rating down some. Ordering this way is faster and does cut down on the staffing overhead for the venue, but does make the overall experience less than a dining out feeling. The prices were standard and weren’t that expensive compared to other similar places out there. The staff were please T but I did feel rushed to make my selection since there was only one cashier working. After ordering they give you the beverage take away cup for you to fill at the beverage station. You are given a number on your receipt and when your number comes up on the various places tv monitors around the seating area, you proceed to pick up your order from a serving window outside of the kitchen On a plastic tray. The venue did have a salsa bar that was well stocked and clean, but did lack options that were not spicy. They did not have but 1 option that was not spicy, even the pick de gallo was hot, which was disappointing. The food was really good, definitely fresh and was served hot. The tortillas are made on site and you can watch them making them through a window as you prepare your fountain drink. The tortillas (flour) served with our meal were hot but extremely chewy and weren’t cooked all the way through. Typically in this type of restaurant you are given sapodillas complimentary, but they did not offer any type of complimentary option. You could buy chocolate cake, carrot cake, or sapodillas at the menu board upon entering and ordering. All in all the food was good, service was fast, dining area was clean, and we had a nice lunch. If asked if we’d be back, the answer in...

The restaurant is FILTHY. Food was dried & sticky on nearly every table. People coming in had no where to sit due to this. There is trash, food, spilled drinks all over the floor. The salsa & condiment bar containers were mostly empty. The sweet & unsweet tea container were empty. People were standing & waiting for several minutes even after their number was called. I didn’t go into the restroom because I didn’t want to risk it being worse than the dining area. My husbands food was sent out wrong even after the lady taking our order tried to correct the preparer. The metal silverware was filthy in the containers as well like they were never washed, we used the packages plastic ware. Pray for all of us that made the unfortunate decision to eat there this evening. 0 stars & hoping we don’t get food poisoning!!! ***20 minutes later - scratch that, I threw it up. I have the expectation that the kitchen was as bad or worse than the dining area.
