A#1 The best Tex/Mex on the planet! Our family decided to go out to eat dinner on Saturday night. My daughter was craving Mexican food. I am super picky so I wanted to eat at one of the pricier Mexican food restaurants in town. My daughter has a family of five, so she suggested a wonderful place, El Patron! Mickey and I had never eaten there. We were so pleasantly surprised! The wait staff was Amazing! I am going to ask for John/Johnny every time we eat there from now on. Which will be often. The Manager came around to check on all the patrons tables, and was just wonderful. The food was the Best! We all had the greatest time! Our chip basket never went empty, our drinks were kept refilled. After our meal we all thought we were too full for the sopapilla's, but John our waiter suggested them and ofcourse my Grand Sons still had room for dessert. So we got sopapilla's for the whole family, we thought we were full, but the sopapilla's were so good, that we ate them right up. Just the Best! This is now my favorite restaurant! I'm so picky that I'd stopped eating out as much as I had in the past, but thanks to El Patron I now have a go to place, and I will be back for more. So happy with this Tex/Mex Restaurant! (YummY) As well as all that "yummy goodness!" Our bill was half of what it would have been at the pricier place I originally wanted to eat at. At least...
Read moreDo not waste your time, go somewhere else or cook at home. Seriously. We got there and seated fast. Was at the table at 509pm. The waitress asked us for our drink orders and we recived our drinks about 10 minutes after, not bad. But then we didn't hear from our waitress until 610 which we had to stop her and let her know we had been ready to order. I ordered the burrito plate with fajita meet instead of toco meet. My man ordered the stake medium well. We waited another hr plus with no more drink offer,( we did finally receive chips and dip) but nothing else. So we had to stop her once again, order some tea. We also asked where our food was. It was about 740 at this point. She said they should be putting it on the plate "platting" it. I said ok if its much longer we need to leave. About 15 minutes later we recived our order. No fajita meet. Burrito was salty. I couldn't even eat it. The stake wasn't good without ketchup,, the whole meal was a disaster. She took off the 3.99 for the meet difference, however we still paid 38 and some change for the meal. This was mothersday. If you choose to go here, you might as well cook at home....
Read moreService at the frontage road location was horrible. My wait for my food took over an hour. I ate 4 baskets of chips and salsa and drank 4 glasses of tea before my appetizer and food got there and wasn’t cooked the way I asked. So I sent it back and requested to speak to the manager. So, the manager approached my table and as he did I shook his hand and introduced myself and was trying to be as polite as I possibly could and he became very aggressive towards me like a teenager would do or something. It was the craziest experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant.. As I attempted to address my complaints towards him about the food taking so long and coming out wrong he got very aggressive and started to take my food and said that he had the right to refuse service to anyone of his choice and since I wasn’t happy to get my ass outta there. I was in complete shock. I couldn’t believe it... So as directed to leave I did with a few choice words to the manager of my own which I will not repeat on here.. Please if you’re taking the time to read this don’t go to this place. Plenty of other Mexican restaurants in...
