I love the brand arbys, today I was craving a classic roast beef and cheddar meal soooooo bad... unfortunately my friend and I were never greeted even after standing there for 10-15 minutes. There was a man in front of us getting a refund for whatever reason, so we really didn't mind waiting but when we were never greeted even with nobody ahead of us in line, we just left. Mind you, we waited for the man to get his refund, they never even looked at us... the place was dead business wise steady at most... I'd like to add the manager had no hair net or hat and she was preparing food. The customers that were in there were all senior citizens, I definitely get why now. They have all the time in the world, being retired and all... however I'd be willing to bet every single one of them was greeted. Obviously I am very frustrated, you know how it is to have a craving... unfortunately my friend and I could not wait any longer, besides who knows how long it would have been, we were invisible to the employees... sad day... all it would have taken to lock in our business would have been a friendly "hello, we'll be right with you." Thank goodness for the seniors in the community keeping the place in business. one of these days when my schedule is completely free and I have all day I would love to get a roast beef and cheddar, because arbys is and always will be delicious. If you ever want to cater to the entire community and not just the retirees, get ahold of me and I will teach your staff fast and courteous service. Thank you...
Read moreThe drive thru window process needs to be amended, especially in times of covid. The drive thru now takes on all customers as dine in was not allowed. Roast beef sandwhiches are best with sauce BUT that needs to be asked for at the pick up window. When asking for it at the drive thru when I remember, I am told to ask for it at the window.
Here is the problem: the drive thru window generally asks me if I want sauce with the order. The last time in Ludington they did...and then forgot to include it anyway. If I hadnt checked the bag, I would have paid nearly $10 for a dry bun and meat (rather high priced for only two ingredients). It also took 28 mins from pulling in to getting my order so I definitely would NOT wanted to have gone back through the drive thru for another half hour for horsey sauce.
I highly recommend Arby's take the sauce down at the point of order so the associates putting the order together has all the information. This will bypass their own forgetfulness at the window, as well as the person ordering...after a half hour in line my focus was...
Read moreI drove in to Ludington about 8:30 prior to an early morning departure on the ferry the following morning. The workers were very pleasant and helpful. I was extremely disappointed to find that the sandwich I always ordered had been taken off the menu. No more Chicken Cordon Bleu! I got a Reuben, curly fries, and Sprite and drove 9/10 of a mile down the road to my hotel. I immediately ate in the parking lot since I like hot food. The curley fries were ok though already quite cool. I can't attest to whether they were hot when I got them or not. The Reuben was a very good sandwich. Maybe my taste buds aren't what they used to be or perhaps fast food just what it used to be back in the day. There were five cars ahead of me when I pulled in and it went quite quickly. I was very thankful to find a drive thru, as I didn't want to go...
