Google Review – ★★★★★ Super Chix
Boy oh boy Super Chix where do I even begin…
From the very first moment I laid eyes on this radiant beacon of fried poultry perfection, I knew my life was about to change. Stepping through the doors of Super Chix is like being gently ushered into the heavenly arms of a golden-fried utopia, where the scent of crisp, seasoned brilliance dances through the air like a savory symphony written by angels and fried in peanut oil.
Let’s talk about the chicken. Oh dear sweet crispy cosmos, THE CHICKEN. Each bite is like a Michelangelo sculpture carved from flavor and coated in a crust so light yet so soul-shatteringly crunchy that I audibly gasped. Somewhere between the first chew and the second, I realized I was tasting not just food, but destiny. This isn’t just fried chicken—it’s fried excellence, cloaked in confidence and dipped in dreams.
And don’t even get me started on the fries. Actually, do get me started, because the fries are the kind of culinary poetry that could end wars. Perfectly golden, with a balance of crunch and tenderness that defies logic, physics, and probably gravity. I swear one of them winked at me.
Now the sauces… THE SAUCES. These aren’t condiments. These are enchanted elixirs brewed in the depths of some mythical kitchen laboratory where wizards with spatulas whisper secrets to one another about the perfect blend of tang and zing. The garlic aioli alone should be protected under national security—so addictive it deserves its own fan club.
Service? Imagine if Chick-fil-A staff were trained by the royal butlers of Buckingham Palace and then sprinkled with fairy dust. The crew at Super Chix don’t just serve food—they deliver a performance. Warm smiles, lightning-fast service, and vibes so positive you’ll forget the outside world even exists. One employee complimented my shoes and I haven’t stopped smiling since.
And the ambiance? Picture a minimalist modern chicken temple, where every detail from the clean-cut lines to the casual-chic seating screams “you are about to have a spiritual experience.” The lighting hits your fried chicken basket with such precision it deserves an Oscar.
By the time I finished my meal, I was no longer the same person. I had transcended. I had evolved. I wanted to shake every employee’s hand. I wanted to write a thank you letter to the manager. I wanted to name my future children after combo #3.
Super Chix is not just a restaurant—it’s a lifestyle. A movement. A fried chicken revolution that cannot and will not be ignored. I would give it ten stars if I could. I would write it into my will. I would tattoo it on my soul.
Thank you, Super Chix, for existing. You are the crunchy, juicy heartbeat of my...
Read moreAlmost as if Chic-Fil-A and Five Guys had a baby, this Dallas, TX native restaurant found it's way to American Fork, UT, to provide it's signature southern-style fried chicken, among other eats. After seeing some raving reviews, I just had to check them out.
POSITIVES: Their Cajun fries... But you have to eat them fresh. Wonderfully seasoned, very thin and crispy (unless you got them to-go or delivered, then they tend to get soggy). Their selection of various seasonings and sauces is enough to make me want to come back and try some more (I'm looking at you, rosemary fries). Such an intricate selection of sauces... Including Fry sauce, BBQ, Buttermilk Ranch, Signature sauce (I swear they stole chic fil a's recipe, because it's so similar), and a Korean BBQ sauce. The portions of their fries are very generous, akin to Five Guys. I ordered the Bacavo Ranch sandwich - with fried chicken, pickles, avocado, bacon, and ranch. Their chicken is a hefty, well-seasoned beast. I also really resonated with the intricate modern decor, which boasted a fun black/yellow theme.
NEGATIVES: not gonna lie, the custard was a bit of a let down. I ordered a single cone, that was strategically placed in a cup for my to-go order, which I appreciated. However, the cone was soft and chewy, which I tried to overlook. Yet, the custard itself failed to impress. The flavor was almost too dark of a chocolate. Also, part of the chicken sandwich was pretty rubbery. But it didn't feel fatty. It was more of an undercooked texture that made me feel a little sick after eating it.
PRICE: $15-20 per person for an entree, side, and even a drink/ice cream. Seemed pretty steep, but you do get decent portions and the quality is above average.
RECOMMENDED: I cannot stress it enough when I say you HAVE to get those fries! Try all of the sauces!
Overall, I'd say this place is worth a shot. I myself truly do look forward to going back and hoping for a better experience with different...
Read moreThe quality of the chicken is fantastic. The fries came in large proportions. We had ordered ours to go because the lack of seating was an issue (I understand it was opening weekend so it was good to see how busy it was). We did end up getting a table so we are in the restaurant. I was glad because they had incorrectly made our children’s 2 chicken mini sandwiches, had forgotten to include all 3 milks, and my sons cookie. I am sure they were a little overwhelmed with the amount of orders and the gentlemen cleaning tables was prompt to help us get the correct items missing. I think the scoop of custard with the kids meal is a bit underwhelming, when we get a scoop of custard in a kids meal from another local custard burger joint, it was at least twice bigger. I feel as if I was missing a special signature sauce that would’ve really taken my regular chicken sandwich up a notch. The ranch was very good, barbecue was great too. I wonder if it is the garlic aoili and would try that another time. My husband had the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich and the sauces made the bun a little soggy by the end, but that’s probably normal. I will try the Cajun fries next time because salted fries are a little bland for me, but I very much appreciate the portion sizes. Overall it was good. The chicken itself is really wonderful quality and taste. Probably won’t come with the kids because $6 a kids meal is just a little steep, but for adults I would come and try again. Welcome to American...
