‘‘Twas late upon a midsummers night, suddenly stricken by the cravings for a frozen delight. being light of coin and low on gas I spotted a building with a front of glass the brow of which boasting, “Hyvee gas.” Having heard tell of their ice cream machine the like of which could put flavor between each swirl within a cone or dish and thus with this my only wish. With foot of lead and focus of steel I swiftly maneuvered the steering wheel. Into the drive I nearly crashed but stood un-phased was the stony edifice. I strode within and forthwith spied a single worker stood solemnly inside. Past the worker and many aisles I found the machine it brought me a smile, but just as soon as it had graced my face I frowned a little a saddening case. For there enclosed laid barren the dispenser of cones. I called the attendent who quickly complied replacing the cones that were not found inside. I smiled and thanked him he mumbled a reply finally satisfaction for my stomachs cry. I grasped a cone and presented it to the nozzle from hence came flowing a glistening waterfall. the soft serve christened with a bubblegum flavored swirl came at the low cost of .99 cents and this I dubbed too little an expense. For the ice cream itself being basic indeed was far better than that lowly price I concede. I payed my bill and hurried away my gluttony satisfied...

The store is under remodel. The layout changed enough that it's harder to find the everyday items. The aesthetics are what makes it a 3 instead of a four. I passed 4 employees and not one asked if I needed help finding anything. The cashier is the only one who asked. This is not normal for...
