Update: Tried to use two $10 gift cards and only one worked :/ Tried to check the balance through their website and it didn't work. Food was good this time, but still a bit disappointing.
Older: So disappointed! Decided to get pizza for me and a friend here (last night: 8/24/2023) because I had a gift card. Little did I know that their online system doesn't seem to have a place to enter in gift cards, so we tried to select the pay in store option (as it specifically mentioned you could pay with gift cards there). After hitting submit it said that we couldn't pay in store at this location. We decided to call in our order in hopes of using the gift card, but the employee said that we'd need to pay in store (contrary to what the website said) AND there was only a 50% chance of being able to use the gift card as their machine didn't work well. We decided to order online then, because the good deals only apply online.
ADDITIONALLY, after that mess, we picked up our food. We got cheesy bread (which was good) BUT we had also ordered the stuff pretzel crust pizza. We were so excited at first, but were quite disappointed because it was SOOO salty (unbearably so). We both got through 2 slices but had to drink so much water in the process, by the end we were even spitting out the saltiest bites.
Overall, quite disappointed with the food and experience. Please don't mislead your customers by saying the can use a gift card when it's a "50/50 chance" and also figure out whether you accept in store...
Read moreI'll begin my review by saying my dining experience was...odd. When I entered the store, I was greeted by an older gentlemen with flowing gray hair. The whole time he was taking my order, I couldn't help but notice that this man looked eerily similar to the Dark Lord Saruman. It was difficult to tell because he was wearing the Little Caesars uniform, but if he had been wearing a gray robe he would be a dead ringer for Saruman. Anyway, once he noticed the ring I wear around my neck he started acting odd, almost finicky. He finished taking my order and gave me my change, but while I was waiting for my order to be ready, I also couldn't help but notice that all of the employees working in the back were rather large Orcs. It quickly became apparent to me that Saruman was using this Little Caesars as a staging point to amass an army of Orcs to take over Middle Earth. Anyway, I received my order quickly and was on my way. The food was cheap and good for the price, and aside from Saruman acting odd around my ring, the service was more than adequate, which made me wonder if those Orcs don't have a brighter future in the food services industry rather than mercilessly conquering all of...
Read moreI would never imagine I would come across this business one day until today.
Last weekend, My husband bought six 15 dollar Little Caesars’ gift cards and found that those couldn’t be applied via their check out system online. So then we brought those gift cards to the store and they tell us they don’t accept gift cards either in store. The staff said their system has been down for almost 1 year and don’t know when this issue will be fixed. But if you bring those cards to store next time when the owner is in. He would be able to refund you cash.
I went to the store today but the owner was unwilling to do that for me. I felt I was being scammed. Little Caesars sells people things that people can not use. The owner simply just doesn’t want to take the responsibility and blames the whole thing on the IT team and wants people to bear it on their own. I was trying to find possible solutions but was so shocked by his attitude and words when he asked me to leave his store.
Don’t be the next victim to this unjust store especially if you live in Ames. I have nothing more to say about this...
