Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Amherst

After multiple times ordering from here, both online and in person, I can confidently say I am never going here again. Last time I ordered online, first of all I waited 10 min past the time it was supposed to be ready and left hoping I’d get there when they’re finishing when all the sudden it skipped preparing and all that and was marked ready. Once I got there to pick it up, it was not on the shelf and I had to wait an extra ten minutes just to be handed it. I get home, knowing it’s probably gonna be interesting based on past experience, probably cold. I pulled my bowl out of the bag and it was so light feeling I was immediately suspicious and when I opened it, it was pretty shallow and sad looking. My sisters wasn’t much better, mostly rice and some toppings. She got queso and it was a joke. It was maybe filled a quarter of the way. So today I was craving it of course, I made sure to purposely walk in and order in person, mind you I have been in food service so I’m trying to give these people the benefit of the doubt and was not difficult what so ever… I ask for a bowl with brown rice, he gives me white, whatever, I let him go on, not trying to be too picky, I ask for fajita veggies, didn’t listen, moved it on down, already trying to take care of my sister. Seems to be in a rush when there was not even a handful of people in there. One kid walks away, so he turns his “attention” back to me and asks what topping I want. He was skimpy on everything and I tried not to let my eyes pop out of my head when he literally gave me like 10 kernels of corn, and huffed when I asked for a little more. I got like 5 pieces of lettuce, I didn’t even want to ask for more. I was genuinely trying to figure out what happened and how I could have offended him. He ended up switching places with a kid who made my sisters order, which looked good, proper topping portions except her steak was mostly fatty and charred pieces, she had maybe 5 edible pieces, and she didn’t end up eating most of the bowl the bowl because it grossed her out so bad. And we were so hungry!! I mean. For $30!!??? I’m so disappointed....

I go in there I ask for white rice. The guy that’s working and making the orders tells me that there is no more white Rice. And so I asked him do you guys have white rice for the online orders and he says yes, so I go ahead and place my online order but I pick it up from inside and as I’m waiting there’s more customers coming in and then I hear him say if anyone wants white rice it’s gonna be ready in 20 minutes and I was like Why didn’t he tell me that before I placed an online order but OK whatever I’m waiting there and it’s taking a while but I’m being patient I’m not complaining I get it it can get busy but finally once I get my food and leave and when I get home, the rice was hard it was straight up raw rice I was beyond mad. It was not edible and so I threw it away in the garbage and also why is there no rice at 6 PM when you guys close at 11 PM? Seems like to me the workers there and management are all lazy and don’t know how to prepare food for paying customers. Our money is not garbage!! people get off work or have a busy day that they can’t cook at home, so why is it that chipotle can’t even do their job properly??!? I will never come to this location ever again worst place if anyone needs chipotle I highly suggest trying a different location. I even called to complain about it to somebody that works there and I get the phone hung up on my face. I have reported them...

This location used to be the best around, but honestly as really declined. The food quality has dropped & several times I had asked for double meat and after they give me another scoop, they use their fingers to pick out larger pieces of chicken from my bowl. Ridiculous. Most recently, I went to chipotle for a door dash order and the doors were locked. I had to have a customer let me in. Once in, let me tell you, there were Atleast 40 people waiting for their food (which nothing was being made.) People were walking out and other door dash drivers told me they had been waiting more than 40 minutes past the 'food will be done by' times. They locked the doors so people wouldn't continue to come in because the teens working didn't want to do the work. Take the time and go to avon. This chipotle has nothing but frustration for customers. Not to mention I had someone make a mistake while putting together my bowl. I asked for chicken and she gave me steak.
