Horrible, horrible customer service. Went there often and had no issues until our past visit. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, they asked if I wanted the dinner so I said sure. I didn't realize that the dinner version came with shrimp as well so they charged me more money and left out the shrimp. I should have been told the dinner version came with shrimp and I would have gladly taken it. I called to complain and explain this simple simple issue and they essentially didn't apologize and blamed me for not knowing. I just wanted a simple sorry that happened, we can't do anything but we will make sure to clarify with people in the future. How hard is that. The lady on the phone was incredibly rude and seemed annoyed I was calling to state an issue I had. Absolutely 0 customer service skills. Place has gone downhill.
Also, when I went in there, I saw a cook picking his scab while cooking.
Also, they don't answer the phone and aren't open consistent with their listed hours.
Stay away. Do not support a business that could care...
Read morePlease don't eat here. The general tso chicken use to be good. So was the service. No longer. Idk what happened but it was hard and dehydrated, the way beef Jerry would be or very dried out chicken. We drove 20 min to get it. We're ontime and got home. Tried to eat and literally it was not palatable. Called and not only did we sit on hold for 10 min but the cook was arguing with us that we needed to bring it back, and after it was inspected.. lol it would be determined if they'd rebook a fresh bat h or a refund would be offered. I'm the customer. It's really really bad. Why would I lie, bow I'm hungry AND I'm being questioned. I can't drive my bad food back to the rude chef tonight, I've got no time and too many kids. What a waste. This use to be a good place to grab cheaper American- Chinese food. Just do yourself a favor and go to Golden crown or out to Westlake for blue sushi grill or even north Olmsted for Ohashi. Much much better food Much better customer service. I'd drive...
Read moreThe Jin House was highly recommended by multiple people. In fact, I was excited to finally have an opportunity to try it out. Unfortunately, I have to say that the Jin House was not any better than other Asian restaurants between Huron and Amherst/Lorain. It is getting to a point where I am starting to feel that these Asian carry out joints are less interested in quality and taste and are more interested in quick turnaround. This is too bad because I used to enjoy so many dishes at these places. It may be time for me to visit the Emperor's Palace on Rockwell. They always had good Chinese food in a sit-down restaurant which I also miss. The atmosphere in the Jin House left a lot to be desired while we waited for our food. It felt dirty and run-down which never inspires confidence when getting food to eat. One last thought, do not order the seaweed salad. It was by far the worst I've ever had and the scoop they provided...
