Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Ammon

Marco's pizza is straight to the point. The moment you walk in they make sure to help you get your order the way you want it. Hailey, the cash register employee, was friendly, helpful, and fun. We got a medium pizza that hit the spot. The cheese was excellent, but my first bite was most impressed by the sauce. We had a tomato base sauce and it really stuck out with flavor. They gave us a 20 minute wait time for our order but we received it in around 15 minutes. Our order also came with wings. The wings were small and simple, but the quality of the wings was good. Lastly I inquired of their catering and group rates for large purchases. ( I do a lot of events with youth.) The manager was very supportive and spoke of a good rate for large events and parties.

I would rate it 5 stars but I wish to try the menu more.

I don't blame the staff for the issues I had during my visit. To start, I put in an order online 1 hour before I was to pick it up. I did this because I had a free moment, and didn't want to forget to order it later. I showed up about 8 minutes before my order was to be ready, not expecting that it would be ready. My "ready" time came and went, and 20 minutes after I showed up, my one single, 2 topping pizza was ready. I know staffing can be a real issue, but so can losing customers. Management needs to do more to keep people on staff during busy times. The staff was overworked, looking stressed, and spent more time answering the phone for orders than making pizzas. In this day and age, why would anyone call in their pizza order? These folks used their phones or their computer to look up the number to call. Why not use that same device to put an order in? I am 8 months pregnant and woke up feeling like complete garbage, all I wanted was their pizza and get it delivered to work since I had to be there. My work is out of their delivery zone and other delivery apps would take 2hrs to get here. I called and asked if there was any way they could deliver and they made an exception. You guys have no idea how happy that made me. Their food, quality, and customer service is always top notch. It's always so affordable and I am NEVER disappointed. So much better than anywhere else, by far my favorite pizza place. I got a Large double pepperoni, Medium Cheese, Cheesy breadsticks, and delivery for $26. Where else can you get such a deal with delivery these days?! Huge shout out to the employees there, thank you so much. I know it probably seems silly but it really means a lot ya'll made an exception to deliver our of your regular zone. Me and these hormones going to be crying in happiness when the food gets delivered. I really can't rave...
