Great service and very nice interior. Yhe restaurant's ambience was very homey and all the staff were grateful we came in. The pho broth was great by itself and the other dishes were great as well. Ordered the house special combo pho, the garlic noodles with shaken beef, the chicken and fries combo, and the salmon and rice.
The salmon had a great crisp and was very flavorful. The steamed rice had a green onion garnish and the salad came with a sweet and spicy dressing which made the salad. A great choice.
The appetizer - chicken and fries combo - was a dish on it's own and it had a great umami taste since the chicken was mixed in with the fries' seasoning which had white chinese pepper and garlic seasoning. Great order and would definitely come back just for this appetizer.
The garlic noodles with the shaken beef was definitely tasty but not the greatest ive had. The green and red peppers were a great addition to this dish and the sauce had roasted peanuts. It was nice to see so many flavors with the beef but the noodles needed more sauce. Not sure if the i was supposed to mix them but i did and it came out great.
The pho confused me since it came with a big beef rib and good sliced meat but it didnt come with tripe nor tendons. Also, the pho bowl was only as big as the beef rib - around 4 inches in diameter and 3-4 inchese with a curves bottom. 16.99 for that was not worth it. Sure, the broth was on point and had a subtle sweetness to it but I cant get over the fact that this place didnt have garlic chili oil. If you like garlic chili oil as an additional item to mix your pho in, not a place for you to go to. Also, this place still has the rooster sriracha which was a plus.
If you like spicy pho, then this place isnt for you. All other items were great. For me, 4.5. But ill leave the judging to you.
Happy eating!
Quick tip: near the back of the store contained a digit menu which had pictures...
Read moreMy daughter and I were in town for a volleyball tournament and stumbled on Asia Foodie Kitchen—what a win! It’s just a short drive from the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland, so it’s perfect if you’re in the area and want something way better than the usual chain spots.
We grabbed a table inside (plenty of indoor seating, clean and casual vibe), and the service was super fast and friendly. My daughter ordered the mango smoothie and the short rib bánh mì—both were chef’s kiss. The smoothie was fresh and not overly sweet, and that bánh mì? Packed with tender short rib and bold flavor. I had the pork belly, and it was cooked to perfection—crispy on the edges, juicy inside, and full of savory goodness.
Everything came out quickly, and you could taste the quality in each bite. Portions were generous too. This spot really hit the mark—great food, good prices, and just an all-around awesome find. We’ll definitely be back next time...
Read moreThis was a random stop for food. It was a great stop. The guys were so friendly and quickly greeted us. They willingly helped us with the menu. All the options of food were just delicious. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The fried tofu has a nice spice seasoning with a lemon cilantro kind of sauce. The egg rolls were shrimp and pork mixed with a kick of black pepper. The garlic noodles are the perfect amount of garlic. That beef was a nice medium rare so juicy. My sister loves that they cut up the pork chop so it was easier to eat. The meat had a hint of lemon grass flavor to it. The sandwich was soft and I love that it wasn't just a giant piece of bread. They had some Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and even fries and chicken. The service was fast and the portions were worth the price. I highly recommend going...
