Absolutely, INCREDIBLE!!! We tried this new place tonight & they did not disappoint. Customer service was top notch. The gentleman helping us was very patient & helpful as we made the tough decision trying to choose what we wanted. He let us know what their top sellers are & we decided to order those. My son got the mango delight which was absolutely MAGNIFICENT!! The flavors are so sweet & fresh. I can definitely see why this is one of their top sellers. I got the strawberry cheesecake which was insanely good!! My other son got the mudslide & he was beyond happy with the outcome as well. They clearly take pride in their products & it shows. They use fresh ingredients & have wonderful flavor combos to choose from. Aside from the hand rolled ice cream they also make shakes from the hand rolled ice cream & homemade crepes as well. I also overheard him mention you can get a pint to go if you’d like!! I will absolutely be making this a top spot for my sweet cravings!!! They’re also open pretty late & offer delivery which is amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. My kids & I are wonderfully satisfied & will be returning...

So it is around 8pm in early December 2024, around 55°F outside in the evening (going down to the upper 40's) and I want ice cream. Yeah I'm crazy like that. I naturally assume the Baskin Robbins on Lincoln would be open, but due to bad planning, BR closed early or closed down for the day because of the new parking lot asphalt.

So I google ice cream near me and ON A ROLL pops up. I'm confused because it says it is located in that dive strip mall on Brookhurst between Orange and Broadway.

I go there despite the location because it looks new and interesting and I'm glad I did. This place turns liquid "ice cream" into something harder that can shaped and rolled. I choose Pistachio ice cream for my mom and Arabic Coffee for myself.

The flavors were rich and delicious. They have dozens of great ice cream flavors. Without going crazy with the add-ons, you can expect to pay just under $10 per person. This place will probably get crazy-busy Spring thru Fall when it is warmer outside.

Place is clean and bright inside but the shopping strip it is in doesn't seem to match the place. However, the rolled ice cream was good and many choices available. Expect to pay $12/person, which maybe isn't too surprising given prices these days. We ordered the mint chip rolled ice cream and the mudslide rolled ice cream (with peanut butter drizzle added). Both were delicious, although the marshmallows on the mudslide were a bit crunchy - surprising at first but I grew to like it. Take the time watch them roll the ice cream, then sit and savor each bite - might as well, you paid for it! We went around 10pm on a weeknight and were the only patrons in the store, although someone did come in to pick up an order. We wanted to try rolled ice cream, so gave it a try - good but won't be going often given the price...
