I had come to this place two years ago with some friends. From the start, there was kind of a negative energy in the place. The cashier had an attitude and kinda rushed us but we didn’t really think anything of it and ate and left.

Fast forward to today, February 4, 2024. Man, this place is not it. My parents had actually come here by themselves years earlier and had the same issue with the cashier and decided not to come back. Today we went in, same negative energy. My mom ordered tacos with rice and beans, didn’t really like them, tasted bland. The real problem was the burgers we ordered. My dad, brother and I all ordered chicken burger combos. They came out with our food, We looked down and all three burgers had everything on it. I’m an extremely picky eater, I only wanted avocado, bacon, lettuce and chicken. My brother doesn’t like tomatoes. My dad told the waitress apologetically and was beginning to explain that I (my burger) didn’t want tomatoes, and as he was about to list the other things, she grabbed all three burgers and took them back. She didn’t let my dad finish explaining. So we waited, and all three burgers came back the exact same except tomatoes. My brother took his burger, but mine was still smothered in mayonaise. So my dad asked the waitress again apologetically and the waitress told us to keep the burger and that she’d get us another one. The waitress was nice and repeated it back . My dad was able to explain that I only wanted lettuce, avocado, bacon and chicken. The waitress then came back and said she wanted the burger because the cooks wanted to see it. Since my dad was already eating it, he apologized. She took back my dad’s burger because he was eating mine. Usually when something like this happens to me, the restraunt will apologize and even Jack in the Box will give you a free milkshake for the incovenience or they’ll cover the cost, give you the messed up burger for free, etc. What I got was a stare down and dirty look from the cook, he shook his head at me and proceeded to yell at us in a condenscending tone asking what i wanted loudly. Never have I ever had such an awful experience. The waitress was nice, felt bad for her. I understand the cooks side, maybe he was having a bad day or something but never should he have given me attitude, been rude, disrespectful and talked bad about us with the cashier and other cooks. My burger did come out right the third time and I did eat it. It was actually pretty good. My dad did say he felt as if he payed too much and I did see other reviews say that they were charged 1 - 2 dollars extra on everything. I also saw other complaints about the cashier. I’m never coming back ever again. I wouldn’t recommend this...

What happened to my beloved Ted's??? I grew up coming here, knew the original owners and the owners after that and met another owner a few years back and he seemed nice. Hadn't been inside for a couple years but have picked up orders through the drive thru and had problems with the food but thought it was the chef having an off day. So today my husband got the family together and we headed to Ted's to have a family meal at one of our favorite places. I'm heartbroken.... the place wasn't the same. It was full as expected, but the vibe was off. Walking in noticed right away the place was dirty, from the tables and chairs even down to the bathroom. Toilet paper with poop stains on the floor, wetness in front of the toilet which looked like urine, the smell was raunchy. I was shocked. I went to get my husband to leave but he had already ordered and paid. At first we chose to sit in the middle of the restaurant, had to clean both the tables and chairs but eventually moved to other seating because the family behind us kept hitting our chairs with their chairs, the seating is so crowded, you're literally boxed in. Moving to other seating, once again, having to clean the table and chairs but this time it was noticed by staff so as she was walking by she picked up a dirty towel and proceeded to wipe the table. She swiped food crumbs to the floor and onto my lap! I just looked at her. Our food was being served by the waitress behind her who didn't seem to be in a good mood, I get it, people have bad days. While we were being served, we immediately we looked at the food and knew right away we made a bad choice coming. My turkey sandwich was more like a lettuce sandwich, nothing like how it used to be, no, there was one slice of turkey folded in half with a huge amount of lettuce. My husband's pancakes were burnt, my son's eggs were not cooked all the way, he got sick and couldn't finish his meal. My husband is really quiet but he did say something to the waitress who served us especially about the uncooked eggs that made my son sick, but, with a smile on her face she says, that's the way we cook our eggs. I was shocked. She didn't offer to refund the meal or offer any resolution she just stared at the eggs sliding all around the plate. We've lost another one...

Let me start that I felt like eating a pastrami today and I live here in Anaheim close to Buena Park Mall so Were literally going out of our way for a good pastrami! So it's the 24th Christmas Eve around 2pm and it's season for the covid so we know there will be lines at places to eat at through the drive-thru my wife and myself have never been to this Ted's burger place but it seemed like a good place well she drove there to pick up some food never been to the place before as I said she drove up way before the menu they were asking her what she want to order all she knew is that she wanted a pastrami for me and had no idea what else was on the menu and asked the waitress if she had a menu on her and she said no that you would have to wait till you get all the way to the end to the menu at the drive-thru but she was taking her order now and all she said that they serve there were hamburgers, salads and sandwiches that was her answer to what they had on their menu not realizing that they had more than that! only when she got to the menu my wife definitely wanted to order something else when she sees that they serve breakfast all day and that they had tacos and burritos as well besides the burgers, salads and sandwiches that she was told that they only carried by the waitress and on top of it the waitress was very rude and when my girlfriend got her lemonade it spilled because of top lid popped off and the waitress didn't even help her to get some napkins to help her soak some of it up instead they just gave her a receipt which was not very friendly! so the food was okay I got my pastrami it was good and for sure the fries were good I did enjoy the fries more than anything else her steak sandwich that my wife had a lot of gristle so she really did not enjoy that it can happen to anyone just having to be a very nerve steak anyways I hope Ted reads these comments on his Burger restaurant to fix these issues for future customers that want to have a good ratings...

Okay the food here is great. That said, their customer service is very disappointing. A cashier by the name "Monse", I'm doubtful she was even honest about that, was very rude. Originally my son had wanted horchata but changed his mind to Pepsi. I let Monse know this before she rung me up. Yet she still charged me incorrectly and instead gave me loose change comprising mainly of pennies. I was nice enough about it. I just smiled and said no worries. I politely asked for ranch and she stated with a smug expression that it was 50 cents. No one has ever charged me extra when ordering an entre that normally comes with ranch. So I told her this and she insisted that it was 50 cents and I just shook my head and said nevermind. Honestly she had just screwed up on my order and this petty woman had the gull to appear annoyed and insist that I pay. I'm sure she felt embarrassed and insecure and therefore took it out on me. I waited 5 more minutes before she came to my window and asked rudely if she could help me. To this I answered yes I needed my drinks. Which she had me repeat to her several times. I'm not sure if she was toying with me or really that incompetent. Due to this experience I will no long come to this establishment. I don't think the owner really cares to read this, as there is no responses to any of the complaints on here. But I hope whoever took the time to read these reviews takes a minute to read mine. I recommend fantasy burger. It's way cheaper, same good food, but far superior in customer service. The ironic part is that my son had wanted McDonalds, but wanting to treat him and have a better experience I chose Teds as a treat. However if this is the way they treat their patrons I'd rather spend money somewhere else. There's a lot of great burger places and I hope the owner of Teds perks up and starts having his team better trained on customer service. I will spread the word to my colleagues and family to boycott this hole in the wall.

Right from the moment me and my family walked into this place I knew I wasn't going to like it. There were kids running all over and ladies gossiping across the tables. I know this has nothing to do with the place itself, but you can't help but to dislike the place just a little. Anways, this was our first time coming here and we had no idea what to order so we stood on the side and let any customers make their order. It seemed like the only people getting impatient here was the cashier. We didn't take longer then 3mins to decide, even though their menu does have a large variety. So far the atmosphere wasn't welcoming and the employees seemed impatient, but we still wanted to try their food. I ordered the chicken strips that were on their "traditional" menu which was supposed to come with a "fresh salad, pita bread, and French fries" for 7.99 but instead the cashier gave me a 4.95 combo with fries, a soda, and chicken strips. I started to get a bit annoyed with this place, but what really got me mad were my "chicken strips" They looked like large deep fried shrimps. They looked burnt and tasted really dry as well. And they were served over shredded lettuce which made the "plate presentation" as a whole really awkward. I obviously wasnt expecting some fancy dinner, but really who doesnt know how to make chicken strips?? Normally burger joints serve them in a basket along with the fries. I seriously could have gotten better chicken strips at Carls Jr. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because my mom ordered the pastrami burger and loved it. So in other words, if you're a pastrami lover this is the place for you.

Great breakfast experience, service and to boot a splendid surprise. The surprise was a awesome Birthday surprise. Our wonderfully warm greeting gentleman, whose name was Frank, casually asked how our day was going and how was everything going, we mentioned it was our son's Birthday. Well after a while the pleasant surprise a castle of small pancake castle with strawberrys and cream. That was such a nice accent. And the best part the food on point along with the service and tasty. Steak and eggs, huevos rancheros, pancakes eggs sausage all done well. We will back
