Mexican Deli — Restaurant in Anderson

I am so excited about thus new Mexican Restaurant! It is close to my home and just at exit 14 on I-85. So convenient but also SO GOOD. I've only been there for lunch and thankfully the lunch menu had fewer items than many restaurants but the variety of options was perfect. It made for a quick decision on my part.

For those who like authentic Mexican dishes, in addition to what we Americans are used to, one can request that their tacos, for example, be "Mexican-style" which translates to slightly different toppings.

The flavor of the beef filling in my taco and burrito was Fabulous. The texture of the refried beans was sublime. The guacamole was a lot smoother than I am used to and may have included some Mexican Crema but I liked it a lot.

I noticed the waitress (who knows her stuff) used a computerized order entry system to put in our order and that may have been why our two orders were mixed up; my nephew had my burrito and I had his; kinks are still being worked out. But the great flavor and quality of the food by far out weighed any mix ups.
