It's a shame my service was awful, because most of the food items my husband and I tried today tasted pretty good. 2 of the sides were not that great but the meat, cabbage, and Mac and cheese were good. The owner was rude though when I asked a simple question for clarification. The food was good was not good enough for me to return if you're going to be rude. I went on 1/21/23 around 11:30 am in the mall. Shortly after eating. I got sick. The food was NOT GOOD! The bananas pudding was awful. The pan was sitting on top of the buffet warmer getting warm.. It should have been on ice or something to keeping it cool. The lady said “ It might make it until tomorrow.” She was talking about the pudding. Mom’s home cooking is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ! The best soul food place I personally have ever ate at. I love her baked chicken and meatloaf and the cabbage is amazing like no cabbage I have ever eaten.
