Disclaimer: This review is aimed specially at the ladies who were working on Saturday April 19, 2025 around 5:30 p.m.

I was a visitor from Augusta, GA. I did not eat here. I merely came to Anderson to go Doordashing for fun and just for a new change of scenery. I have never heard of this place before . I had a doordash pick up from it . Upon entering the building , there were three women immediately at the front door . Two younger girls, both were sitting , one was slouching like she hadn't a care in entire world and would rather have been anywhere else . The other was an older lady . Let me start by saying before any of them said a thing to me , they all looked at me like I had no business being there . I don't know if it was because of how I was dressed (I was doordashing , if I want to wear pajamas , I will . If I want to skinny jeans , I will , if I want to wear sweatpants , I will) I don't know what their problem was , but they made me very uncomfortable being there , like only people who look a certain way can be there or something , and mind you , this is not a fancy place & i wasn't dressed any different than anyone else who was there . After a couple seconds , the older lady asked me if I was picking up , I replied with yes , showed her the name , and she said it wasn't ready yet , but I was more than welcome to wait for it at the bar area , so I did . Another older lady asked me what did I need , and I told her I'm just waiting for a doordash . She , again , informed me that it wasn't ready yet . Which is fine , I don't mind waiting .

When the food was ready , I was SO EXCITED to be leaving . When I was walking out , one of the girls at the front finally smiled at me and told me to have a 'good day' like she didn't make me feel like I didn't belong there to begin with , she was probably smiling because I was leaving . ☺️

If I am ever back in Anderson , I WILL NEVER step foot in this place EVER again & I will certainly never try their food , either . What happened today made me extremely uncomfortable . I do not care if I walk in with blue skin looking like a smurf , if you can't welcome me no matter what , you have no business working in hospitality .

I did restaurants for nine years , and I didn't care what my guests looked like , I just knew they deserved to be treated like a guests and feel welcomed , and it was my job to provide for them . I don't know how people felt comfortable enough to eat here . Maybe they pick favorites . Who knows . I'm sure they won't hurt from me not being there anyway . Just know that a foul attitude and a judgmental mindset sets the tone for the entire...

Well it gets 1 star for the food coming out quick at least. Came here for the first time today with some friends for lunch. First thing I noticed is that it was extremely loud. There were flies buzzing around the restaurant, and the servers all looked like they hated their jobs. The service was practically nonexistent. The servers had no personality whatsoever. No smiles, no greetings, barely spoke at all. No thank you after the meal or anything. Ive received better service at McDonalds and that's pretty bad. What really gave it umph was when I found a hair in my potato salad. I notified the waitress and showed her the hair and she grunted as I asked for chips instead. There was absolutely no apology for finding someone elses hair in my food. Nothing. She didn't care in the slightest. Didn't offer to have it comped after noticing i didnt eat my side. Nothing. She was the heavyset girl with glasses and her hair in braids. How this place has such high ratings while giving that kind of service is beyond me. But it sure didn't look like a 4 star place while I was there. I will probably never set foot inside this establishment again. Extremely disappointed after hearing so much about the place. Regretfully I would rather eat at arbys than eat here again. At least I will receive good service at...

This is a mixed review for me. The food here is awesome. The service is normally pretty good. They definitely aren't fast, but the food is worth the wait so no issue there.

I have been going to this place for several years now and it seems like the building is just kind of falling apart. The restrooms are just gross. Not only are they not clean but the floor literally smooshes beneath your feet while you walk. Several spots in the restaurant have "sinking" floors. There is tape covering tears in the floor and a rug covering a very bad spot in the men's restroom. I always wonder what the area of the restaurant you cannot see looks like if they don't care enough to clean the areas you can see.

They were closed for a couple of weeks just recently and I was really hoping there was going to be some repairs done. I went to eat there last night and it was still the same. It is bad enough now that it will actually keep me from going back which is a shame because the food...

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food here. I was hesitant to order the chef special, which was oven roasted duck, at what looked like a pizza place. I decided to double down and get the scallop and shrimp cake appetizers. We also got the shrimp and grits. I was impressed. Everything was delicious. If I'm being super picky, the scallops, duck, and shrimp were slightly overcooked, but only by the slimmest of margins. I also thought the scallop appetizer was overpriced. At $16 we got 4 scallops. While good, it's definitely a little steep. Overall, I gave this place 5 stars based on the location and unassuming atmosphere that cranked out quality food.

Pizza was fine. Waiter was fine. The location itself is very unsanitary. The floor was disgusting. Whole dining area needs a mark-over everything seemed to be in disrepair. You can see they just leave drinks jugs out next to customers on the window sill. I haven’t seen that before. Very off putting experience. The server brought over seasonings for our pizza’s but he was touching the lids with the tops of his hands after he was touching whatever else. Just seemed unsanitary. We are visiting the area and were disappointed.

Fresh local food! Focaccia made in house. Husband has gluten allergy and they have several offerings other than a salad. I am vegetarian and able to choose between many offerings as well. Could easily veganize if you wanted to too! He had the pasta natural over rice with steamed veg. I had the veggie sandwich, side of tapenade (I really wanted to flavors of the muffuletta), horseradish potato salad and steamed veg. It was delicious. We will definitely be back!
