First of all, the staff are extremely friendly and outgoing. As soon as we were seated we got chips and a carafe of house made salsa with individual bowls for each person. The chips were great, but the salsa was excellent. I could've drunk it straight from the carafe and been happy. I ordered the chicken chimichanga. This may seem like a pretty basic order, but I always test a Mexican food restaurant with this one. If you can't get something like a chimichanga right I probably won't like the other food, either. They nailed it! It was crispy, as it should be, and smothered in queso. The fresh made guacamole and pico de gallo on the side made it that much better. The beans and rice were plentiful, and authentic. My wife had the thing she likes to order most: the fajita burrito, and enjoyed it thoroughly, as well. She often takes some home with her, but it was so good she finished it (couldn't finish the rice and beans, though). Our daughter is a picky eater, and we only chose to eat here because they had chicken tenders and fries on the menu for her. That would've been enough, and we weren't even aware when we ordered that ice cream comes with the kids' meals, and a topping bar with cookie pieces, candy, and chocolate chips, as well as other things. Sorry to yell, but I am so excited to review this place. When we first walked in, the young gentleman greeted us with a fist bump and a hello. As we sat he asked us how are day was and engaged in a delightful conversation.

After sitting we were amazed with how much thought was put into the atmosphere. Spacious seating with beautiful art that didn’t overwhelm you. Our server, host and other servers anticipated every need, answered any questions we had, and were delightful conversationalists.

The margaritas were phenomenal and beautifully presented with a flower and slices of citrus fruits. The food was delicious, priced appropriately, and also presented with flair. Again so thoughtful giving everyone at our table their own little bowl for salsa, and refilling chips.

HONORABLE MENTION: the server even noticed our table was tilting (before we even noticed) and fixed it. AND provided the two drinkers at our table a delicious complementary candy shot.

I don’t leave many reviews but I am writing this on the way home. Hopefully that should tell you how impressed we were. My only regret? Eating way too much and not taking pictures of our food to show anyone who reads this.

Their customer service is unmatched. They are apologetic and want to make it right when they mess up and even without that, the gentlemen serving us was awesome. They served me a “12 oz New York strip steak”, that definitely wasn’t a New York strip in any way, but also was either microwaved or somehow a severely overcooked crappy cut of knockoff meat of their signature dish, the “Jose’s Hernandez” which I would recommend staying away from, as their other options have to be better. They allowed me to trade it out for another dish, which I did the chimichanga, which even though it was very under fried, so 1/4 chimichanga & 3/4 burrito, it was still acceptable because it still tasted good. My family enjoyed their food nonethelesss. Their salsa with their complimentary chips and salsa was delicious. I leave a 5 star because of the customer service. I was let down on both of my meals, but my kids and my wife enjoyed their meals. I won’t be back, but I do recommend giving...
