T.J. Maxx — Local services in Ankeny

Recently I bought Invicta watch from this store. The watch is beautiful and luxurious. I spotted it at the watch counter, when one of ladies helped me to buy it. I immediately fell in love with this watch. Smooth dial, black color, swiss look, almost like Rolex type of look, but it's not, and moreover affordable price. Im the watch guy, and I like some certain brands of watches, but this watch, I fell in love with since I purchased it. I had to resize the watch band though because of it's original size band and its one of my favorite watch collection. Thank you so for your product. 🙂

Most recently, I bought my 2nd Invicta Watch. They are so adorable watches, especially in accuracy. And it’s invincible, that’s correct. I will recommend this brand to anyone. Seriously… because for me, it’s a hustle to always change time for 5 min front, or 5 min back, just to catch up on correct time. I never touched or adjusted time on those watches, except the date dial, but it does not matter. For months you just see the dial, and there is the same time, due to the smoothness of the watch dial. 👍 Respect the Swiss. Respect the company....

Nothing towards TJMaxx but when going in to make a Return, the cashier "purposely/accidentally" charged me again for the items after I had already handed her the purchase receipt, verbally stating it was a RETURN. She then laughed wickedly saying "oopsie" being vindictive & unprofessional at Register#6 on 9/18/2025 time slot 12:53p. I've been dealing with passive aggressive racism and community stalking/harassment since speaking out about their attempted bullying tactics here in different parts of Iowa on social media and tactics like this is how they tend to operate as a form of retaliation while also spreading lies and smear campaigns about anyone they don't like for being different than they are (LGBTQ, Non-christian, Free Spirited, Humanitarian, etc.) Sadly, the systemic, passive aggressive racism needs to be addressed accordingly so that they don't give reputable businesses a bad name for hiring racially discriminating staff or or be in violation of civil rights abuses towards people they don't like based on rumors, gossip, lies or defamation...

This store deserves 0 stars for their poor customer service. I found an item that I liked and was in need of two of them. I ended up searching and finding a 2nd one of the same exact item but they were marked completely different prices. I went up to the register to ask about the price differences and the manager confirmed in a very rude tone of voice that yes it is the exact same item but that I would be paying the different prices and basically to take it or leave it. Never have I experienced such awful customer service when asking a very simple question. Did not end up buying the items, will be taking my...
