Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Ankeny

Do not expect "contactless curbside" pick up here, as they will blatantly ignore the phone. Decided to give them another chance after staying away several months due to being fed up with their minimum 90-minute delivery orders, even on weeknights. Figured I'd pick up myself and opted for curbside due to recovering from a knee injury making it difficult to get in/out of the car. Pulled up in front at the pick-up time and called the store as directed, but they never answered the phone. After 15 minutes of unanswered calls, watching priority given to customers going in, I painfully made my way inside and asked for my order. It was sitting right there ready to go, but none of the 6 employees I saw inside had the capacity to answer the still incessantly ringing phone. Upon arriving home, we had to heat up the pizza and breadsticks because they were barely warm, already tasting like leftovers. Definitely regretted giving them another chance, especially with so many good, competitively priced pizza places in the area that actually care about customer service. This store is not worth the...

The only way to order a pizza here is for carryout. They forgot to deliver a pop and when I called the store, they said they would have it out in about 15 minutes. It took almost two hours for the pop to be delivered. We were only about five minutes away but couldn't leave the site. I would try to order from any other pizza place if possible.

Update: My coworker order a pizza from this location a couple of days ago. She did not know that they always take forever to deliver your pizza and they do not have good service. The issue we had this time was receiving the wrong pizza. She ordered a chicken supreme but we received a regular supreme. Most cases this wouldn't have been an issue besides the fact that one person in our group can not eat pork and they were unable to enjoy the pizza with us. If we had called them to take back the regular supreme and bake us the one that we ordered, it would have taken them probably two hours until we received the right pizza. I order from this restaurant a few times a month for delivery, usually I receive Excellent pizza cooked all the way and sometimes we get wings with our order, and the only complaint I've had until this recent experience was that the wings have been tossed into the container, but that's it, the sauce is underneath the wings when you open the box as a customer, this is bad presentation. If I wanted naked wings I would have ordered that. A customer eats with their eyes first, and the tongue second, so I would at least toss the wings in the sauce to give a better presentation for the customer. Usually i would never post a review for something as petty as my chicken wings looking carelessly made, however last night I ordered from this location for delivery, and waited an hour for the stuffed crust pizza, to find it horribly undercooked, so much so that the cheese was coming off in one fell swoop and it was lukewarm at best. They at least got my order right, but undercooked pizza is a hellish thing to eat. Please don't do this...
