I live near this starbucks and I've never had an issue. I'm always one to be very understanding, but today I felt a review was necessary. I did a mobile order for a doubleshot at10:05 and my estimated pickup was 17-20 minutes. I picked up my drink at 10:30 and it looked like watery milk. For those not aware of what a doubleshot is, it's all espresso with a drop of milk. It's always been a dark brown color. I took a drink and it just tasted like water. Normally with all the espresso, even when it's watered down, you can still taste it because it's so strong. I'm normally one not to take things back, but today I did... The lady I talked to was extremely defensive and rude. She told me that I ordered it at 10:05 and it's water because I left it sitting for 30 minutes. I told her the app said my wait time was 20 so I waited to come get it. She fired back and said I don't have control over the app but if you wouldn't have let it sit for so long it wouldn't be watered down. I tried to explain that even with a watered down doubleshot, it should still taste like coffee, but it was just watered down milk; like there was no coffee in it. She was just beyond rude and said I don't know what to tell you besides your 30 minutes late to pick this up. I mentioned again I showed up when the app told me to. She said I guess I'll make you another drink... Ok, look. I get it. But what good does it do to argue over an app that both of us have no control over? You made the drink early or on time, I showed up when I was told to, and it's not good. No reason to argue if you're going to fix it anyways. Again, I'm usually the one to deal with things and blow them off, but I couldn't drink this. It was really gross. I'm telling myself not to feel bad, but sheesh... At this point I'd rather spend the same money at a local coffee shop than deal with horrible customer service. Besides, doesn't starbucks have a rule that if you don't like it, take it back and they'll remake...
Read moreIf I could give this location 0.5 stars, I would. I have yet to have a pleasant experience here when they’re experiencing a busy rush. On several occasions, they have taken 20-30 minutes from taking my order, paying and making it. If you’re ever stopping for a drink or food on your way to a scheduled event, skip it — you’ll never pop in and pop out. I once ordered a simple iced coffee with cream and received my breakfast and other drink and waited nearly 30 minutes for my coffee while people behind me and in the drive through came and went easily. I finally said something and they told me they were out of iced coffee and had to brew more, it would’ve been nice to have been informed because I may have chose cold brew or another drink as I was trying to get to an appointment. Not to mention, the design of the building and location is horrendous. The drive through takes at least 15-20 minutes to get through (every single time, whether it’s 2 cars deep or 30) and wraps around the building when busy and blocks in cars that parked and went in. I don’t know what the issue is or why this location hasn’t been able to figure out a routine that seamlessly gets people in and out in a decent amount of time. Any other location is better than this one! Maybe they could learn a thing or two from Chick-fil-A!!! I will be driving across town...
Read moreThis location is the SLOWEST Starbucks I have ever been to! I often times end up leaving the drive thru and going to the Starbucks inside of Hyvee instead. The employees are usually very friendly however this past Sunday morning (04/28/19) I met up with a couple of friends for coffee inside and we all had an awful experience with one particular employee (short girl with blonde hair), she was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful for no reason whatsoever. I mean, rolling eyes, barely saying our name loud enough for us to hear it and she got a real nasty attitude with me when I went to collect my order since my name was called and the drink was missing. Not cool to have to deal with nasty employees when you’re giving your patronage to a business. I will take my business elsewhere for that...
